Luckily, no "snowflakes" on the Left.
Zero surprise this article comes from the Guardian, natural habitat of the Snowflake. |
Thought you were sick of that word Livia :nono:

The left have become pathetically precious, they scream racism and sexism regardless of the debate. yet they blew up a country and murdered over a million innocent people, yet they see nothing racist in that, but they do get oh so offended by petty drivel like the word snowflake. the left bankrupted the country, destroyed sme's, killed a million innocents, had the filthiest hospitals in europe and created a bigger gap between rich and poor than for 200 years. They dont respect anything, the dont respect the economy, freedom of speech, job creation, business opportunity, sovereignty, civil liberties, freedom of speech, tax payers money , they disrespect safety of the public, they are anti common sense, they did nothing for the working class communities, nothing for the vast industrial areas and nothing for those millions in those broken jobless communities...they are a disgrace to the human race

'The Guardian' isn't an entity with the capacity to 'say' or indeed write anything. It isn't a person. Nor, for the record, is it a 'rag' - it's a broadsheet.
The piece in the OP is not an editorial, nor is it an article, it's a column written by Arwa Mahdawi - one I happen to believe 'nailed it'. There is no 'they'. Quite what you are trying to get at is beyond me. :joker::joker::joker::joker::joker::joker: |

So forgive this alleged 'snowflake' for taking such biased drivel with the pinch of salt it deserves. :hehe |

Secondly, what is there to be unbiased or biased about? What exactly is this 'subject' you speak of? This is an opinion piece about the alleged hypocrisy of the terms 'snowflake', 'safe space' and 'PC' levelled at those on the left by some sections of the right. It isn't a news story, there is no facts or 'fake news'. It's a column. Finally, much like many of the other Comment is Free columnists she does not work solely for The Guardian and so this 'master' nonsense you've invented seems utterly bizarre and completely misplaced. The next time Katie Hopkins or Piers Morgan write a column for The Sun or the Mail respectively, can I expect to see you deriding them for bowing to their right wing masters and writing what their overlords want them to? I'm guessing not. Populist correctness gone mad, it seems. |
It's an excellent article. I think generally that there's too much 'us and them' in politics and I suppose articles like this might perpetuate that, but then again it's just a reaction really to so many things that have happened in politics recently, and I do think it's correct in what it's saying and the hypocrisies it's highlighting. Specifically the reaction many people had after Brexit in trying to shut down people who opposed it, which I agree goes completely against freedom of speech and democracy. So it's good to see things like that get highlighted.

Who started this "snowflakes" sh*t? It's annoying as ****.
