(lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, ally, pansexual)

Then you can add a + or a 2 just in case something isn't covered :p

I thought that was what it meant...don't see why they should be included though given they won't actually suffer any discrimination themselves :umm2:

Yeah, I get what you mean. It depends how you view it though. I imagine some straight people are subject to abuse for championing the gay community, it just depends on how much of an ally you are.

It's a nice term to include as well. The miners were allies to the gay community during the 1980's, for example.

Yeah i think there may have to be a point where enough is enough with the adding more and more letters. It's already too complex for my tiny mind.

Should add the 71 genders on too...as it seems the aim is to have as many random letters as possible

Or just confuse the feck out of everyone.

To be fair, the reclamation of the word 'queer' dates as far back as the emergence of queer theory in the 90s. I think it's a good umbrella term personally, but see the easiest acronym to encompass all of the new terms as LGBT+

Honestly some people are seriously trying to get attention by creating stupid terms.

"Schrodigender– A gender which you can both feel and not feel."
seriously what the **** is this?

This really annoys me because there are lots of LGBT people needing help and that are everyday people (which are actually the silent majority of the lgbt community) not being able to understand themselves because the community&media always show the most absurd ways of the community. Doing so you are not embracing the differences and diversity, you are actually destroying it

If we look at the picture shown to us we see sex hungry people, who love having group sex EVERYWHERE they can, they wear abnormal amount of makeup and scream for "straight" guys or have 20 piercings on their face identifying themselves as

Scorpigender– A gender that is a mystery, and very difficult to understand. lots of labels vaguely fit it, but almost none can fully describe it.

Do we have these people in the world? Yes regardless of gay or straight. Is it the majority of the community? No. So we need to show more of the moderate everyday people as big faces of the community. This may not sound that important to you guys here but there are struggling people in much less fortunate countries who cannot understand what is going on with them because when they are young and look at the word "gay" or "transgender" they see extreme ways of acting and they feel like they have to make a choice between being extreme or "normal" (!) and these people deny their identifications and live a lie for rest of their lives.

There are transgender people who are struggling a lot. But there are not salugender or felisgender people.

Yeah I remember that series 'As queer as folk' I agree with the + at the end too though.
