Anyway whilst I don't condone assault, the paparazzi are ****ing scum and really should not be allowed to follow people around and put cameras in people's faces. It actually astounds me that it's allowed to continue, I think most people would react pretty badly and eventually get irritated by it, and no 'being famous' doesn't mean it comes with the territory - it's no excuse, it shouldn't be happening.

He's had a pretty tough couple of months, does it excuse it? No, but can I sympathise? Yes

Being photographed is part of the job so you either deal with it or get out of it

So pretty much what happened is that he was just trying to protect his girlfriend then? Nothing wrong with that. He didn't "attack" anyone. The only person who did was whoever that woman attacking his girlfriend was. A non story, really.

But it was his girlfriend who was being photographed though? I doubt he would have made this much of a fuss if it was the other way around.

he accidentally dropped something, got in the way of the paparazzi's legs so he pretended to fall over which brought them both down. paparazzi are scum. the way he had the camera in his gf's face was not nice, even when he was asked to stop.
don't know why those girls shoved his gf up against the wall, they should be the ones prosecuted.

She probably tripped over,he didn't do that,why is it ok for a woman to push and shove someone to get 'THAT picture' but not for a guy to push her back,equality and all that Adam.have you seen how rough the paps get? they are wild.Was he not defending his girlfriend ?

he's dealt with it for the best part of 6/7 years but this isn't just your ordinary pap taking photos of him, theres a guy right up in his face and a bunch of girls jumping on his girlfriend. This shouldnt be acceptable just because "its what comes with being famous" god help ur friends or family if they ever get jumped on and u just stand there watching

I don't care about 1D nor any of its members. From the video, it looks like he and his gf have been quite cornered, by both the paps and these (lowlife, should I say?) fangirls. From what I read in the press, those girls are not wasting time and already waiting to cash their prize. Pathetic.

He's awful but he doesn't seem to be in the wrong here.

If his girlfriend was being attacked then why is he stopping the guy from getting evidence of it?
