I forgot that black British actors could only have been either classically trained RADA graduates or best friends with Damilola Taylor, silly me

I do like him as an actor, i think he is one of the best ever.

And without him in it, it would have been much worse than it was.

What did you think of Deep Blue Sea btw?

i didn't see that one

How? Cause what i have seen, itīs repeated on UK channels like every few months or so

You should it has Patrick Jane, Mr. L. Jackson, LL Cool J, that woman who plays Tony Sopranos sister to name a few. But itīs a shark movie, so you know there is some little Jaws action there. Butīs itīs a fine 2 1/2 star movie, i think.

of all the mediocre British actors plaguing Hollywood at the moment, John Boyega and Daniel Kaluuya are not the problem.

Have a word with Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hiddlestone and (much as I fancy him) Andrew Garfield first.

Wow.

This is actually the first time i have heard someone saying that.

What a silly thing.
So actors need to have gone through what their characters are portraying now?
So Brie Larson must have experienced a sexual assault to have been cast in the Room? No actors can play other nationalities or use different accents?

Idiot.

I think he means goes to school at all. I'd say most brit actors trained in some kind of college or school even if they didn't go to a big posh drama school. Whereas Americans get a lot more people just deciding to be actors, getting agents and going to auditions whereas Brits have a reputation for being trained and having a discipline.

I'd agree with them 15-20 years ago but since the rise of the reality stars it's the same all over. You get people becoming movie stars and TV stars overnight just because they want fame.
