But some people sometimes like to use the odd curse to properly get their point across, just make the filter optional for the chicks that can't handle it!

Not twisting your words tom calm down, just trying to show how a lot of suggestions aren't done or added because even though they may sound good to you they just aren't feasible.

Also doubt you will find much coders that join up to a BB forum with enough spare time and dedication to code tibb for free.

And some people don't, that was the point of my post.

James has mentioned plenty that he wont be removing the swear filter.

Can't we have emojis? like :) looks quite patronising in a way...every forum has them now.

Smithy 21-03-2017 07:20 PM

We do have emojis luke

Smithy 21-03-2017 07:21 PM

You put [emoji###] ### being the number and it posts it [emoji11]

Smithy 21-03-2017 07:21 PM

Oh well it used to

I know emojis work on tapatalk :worry:

oh that did work before but wouldn't it be easier if you were to click a emoji from the side rather than memorizing or keep checking for each code and it would save a lot of time as well.

Mess i've been asking for this for two years now. Dancing on Ice has profile favourite section. Delete that if you need room.

Tom himself seems eager.

Josy 21-03-2017 07:27 PM

Obviously using swear words in every post/about five times a post is really excessive and perhaps there could be a repercussion like a warning? But using it every now and again is fine. It's just a form of expressing yourself. Everyone swears, it's normal.

LukeB 21-03-2017 07:28 PM

These look amazing.

(i would like these added too)

Marsh. 21-03-2017 07:28 PM

Screaming at Luke.

We've reached the point where we're banning smileys for being patronising or rude. :joker:

Yes, people have varied opinions on the matter, which is why I think there should be the compromise of making it optional so sensitive chicks can block it if it's too much for them to see someone say "****" every now and then

Agreed, I don't think anyone is interested in seeing who someone's DOI or The Voice favourite is TBH.

I'm not saying banned the smileys, i'm just asking for emojis so a better :) can be used. I sometimes don't like to use it because of it. The emoji one is quite cute.

:clap1: especially, as you said earlier, with it being a forum primarily about a TV show that has swearing every two minutes
