And they run it together but the wife is my 'boss' I don't really deal with the husband that often. I'm guessing she wants to be the one to take her baby to the clinic considering she's ill idk? |

Chef's Assistant at a pub really so I'm just a skivvy, washing plates, loading dish washer, serving food, dealing with customers etc. My boss kind of runs the kitchen but she's not the chef so on the days she has off they have the kitchen assistant's in! |
I'm really bad at dealing with people people always ask me for sauce or something and I just disappear into the kitchen and don't remember until like 10 mins later :worry:

Ignore her, it's up to you if you want to work or not. If she asks just say you were not in a position to answer at the time, although it really is none of her business. A good excuse also would be 'I was driving, my phone was in the glove box' :)

So much drama at our workplace but I still love working with them ahahaha

Yeah I would ignore it! But if her baby is ill then I guess it's good to go in if you can.
Mine said he likes to work on a 2 weeks basis but like he messaged me with like 1 day notice and I haven't worked for 8 weeks. So I'm saying no unless I get a weeks advance notice because it's taking the piss considering he hasn't asked me for 8 weeks. He asked me Mothers Day Sunday with barely any notice, working till like 10PM+ but I said no because of college early next morning. Honestly don't know why I get a days notice, clearly just an extra for when someone can't work. |

I don't know why you would all ignore it though, its costs nothing to be polite and its not like they can force you to work, just answer and say no, better than having it hanging over you next time you go in and they ask why you didn't answer your phone :nono:

I don't really know if I actually have a job because like he didn't ask for me 8 weeks, well he asked me this Sunday. There's always a kitchen assistance, so he's just choosing not to have me. And he said we work on a two week basis, so let me know in advance if you're are unavailable certain weekends. So like clearly not wanted there. Yeah lol. |
