I assume they are not doing DNA testing and such on areas where victims are found as 'expensive' or something. So that leaves luck to catch this sadistic bastard

And even if they get caught, the sentence is likely to be pathetic. Like most animal cruelty sentences are

Yeah, I get the impression they'll move on to people before they are caught.

This sick bastard needs to be caught before he moves on to people.

Those poor owners. Imagine finding your decapitated cat on your doorstep?

Amy Jade 17-02-2018 05:25 PM

This is sick, it's not well enough publicized to catch the bastard though.

It should go viral so people are on the look out or keep their pets inside.

The Croydon Cat Killer strikes AGAIN....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...th-London.html

Have you seen this man?

Police are looking for a white man in his 40's with acne scarring to his face and short brown hair.

Quote:

Officers said he wore dark clothing and may wear a 'headlamp' or carry a torch.
He is believed to have killed and dismembered over 400 cats, aswell as fox and deer.

The killer usually decapitates the bodies. Police believe he usually carries a machete and a garden spear to kill and dismember the animals.

Quote:

He keeps paws and tails as 'trophies'
He has carried out his attacks in locations ranging from London, Liverpool, and Sussex.

Harriet (pictured below) is believed to be his latest victim. She was found decapitated by children on a doorstep in South London.

'They are always within a mile of main roads, always in residential areas and always where there is not likely to be any CCTV. He knows his areas very well.'

Please, if you know anything that could help end this reign of terror contact the police ASAP. So many lives have been taken from us...

Nicky91 09-08-2018 08:31 AM

Niamh. 09-08-2018 08:51 AM

Horrible piece of ****, what a gorgeous cat aswell, actually all the cats in the pictures bar the last look like pedigree cats, I wonder is that his thing, for "trophies" what a weirdo, like a cat serial killer

glibberglobber 09-08-2018 09:27 AM

Do YOU know someone who matches this description?

Quote:

A man in his 40s, with short brown hair and bad acne scarring to his face.
The killer has also started killing pet rabbits.

Quote:

Tony also said that there has been an increase in the numbers of pet rabbits being killed, and at least three in the last two days have been found dead. Two of the rabbits were killed and left in their hutch for the owners to find, and the other was beheaded in its owners’ back garden.

The really worrying thing, considering the number and brutality of these killings, is that many notorious serial killers started off killing animals before "graduating" to human victims. I imagine the police are probably pretty worried about finding a human body killed in the same manner.

This makes me so angry that cat lived to be 17 just to be killed by this sick freak.

JoshBB 09-08-2018 12:24 PM

that's pretty concerning..

jaxie 09-08-2018 05:29 PM

I have cats and live in the South East so I find this terrifying. He lays them out so the owners can find them so I suspect he hangs around to watch.

As TS and Nai!h have mentioned this is a very disturbing person who needs to be caught before he moves on from pets.

'Croydon cat killer' mystery solved by police

The so-called Croydon cat killer does not exist, the Metropolitan Police has confirmed.

The force launched an investigation in 2015 into reports of mutilated cats in Croydon and the surrounding area.

Twenty-five post-mortem examinations were carried out but found no evidence of "human involvement".

Scotland Yard said injuries inflicted on cats were "likely to be the result of predation or scavenging by wildlife on cats killed in vehicle collisions".

Foxes are believed to be behind some of the mutilations.

During the probe, detectives received more than 400 similar reports of cats being mutilated across London and surrounding counties.

However, all of the cases will now be recorded as "no crime".....

Lol

so much for some mystery killer

Nicky91 20-09-2018 02:23 PM

good that this has been solved then

Niamh. 20-09-2018 02:23 PM

Conspiracy!

Nancy. 20-09-2018 03:05 PM

500 cats over the past few years is a rather excessive amount considering wildlife and vehicle collisions isn't anything new. Sounds to me like the police haven't the resources and this is their excuse.
