yes most of those #1 prior 2013, not even gonna comment on gags, and I was heavily supporting katy more then taylor but nearly everything katy has done this era has been disappointing, I haven't listened to witness since it's release, while taylor has interested me much more just with a few snake videos :skull: says a lot really

As I said in post #40. Every artist has an era where they aren't as successful. Britney flopped with Britney Jean and Glory. Christina flopped with Bionic and Lotus. Madonna's sales took a massive nosedive with Erotica, MDNA and Rebel Heart. Even MJ flopped with Invincible, it just happens. I bet Katy's next era will be much more successful than this one.

What does it matter to you why I "drag her up"? If I want to talk about her or use her as an example, I will. Nothing you can do about it.

and what did Madonna "do"?

I know lovely, I didn't mention anything about sales though, katy has just been disappointing in general this era, you can really compare britney and katy though, it was britney's #8 album to underperform this is katy's #4

Bad Blood was better

Yes, compared to previous era's she is, but I do love the album though. I think the main reason she "flopped" is because of her drastic image change. Blonde hair doesn't really suit her at all. That and the wrong choices for singles. "Chained" kinda started off well, but "Bon Apetit" was definitely the wrong choice. She should've released "Roulette" instead. Apparently, she's also doing video's for "Witness" and "Hey Hey Hey", so we'll see how those pan out.

I've done some digging and found that Britney's third album didn't sell nowhere near as "Oops" did. "Britney" sold 6 million less than the previous album, so in essense - even though the video's were great, it did flop in comparison. I do love Britney though. She get's a lot of crap for miming but I think she's great.
