I hate to be a cynic but...

"Vote Tory And You Will Be Safe" is, I suspect, going to be the message being broadcast as loudly as possible over the next month. They will use this tragedy for political gain. And that is ****ing horrendous.

Yet you would praise labour if they did it.

The country is in turmoil right now and we need a leader to step up and take control

Imagine trying to create an argument with another online user on a big brother forum when the country is at a critical terror threat

I would advise you against it as big events are the most likely target

Will. 23-05-2017 09:12 PM

I kind of wanted to go to the Summer Time Ball this year, but I guess not now.

Part of me agrees but then I think you can't live your life in fear and miss out on doing things you enjoy because of what could go wrong.

smudgie 23-05-2017 09:19 PM

It means there will be more safety measures, more security.
You could actually be safer going to the concerts than you were before.
Having said that, my daughter and I had a very deep talk about her going to all the festivals, guns hidden in wrapped up tents, all those people wearing haversacks etc, she decided to give it all a miss last year, can't see her going again this year either.
But you can be in danger anywhere to be fair, I reckon we have to get on with life as normal as we can otherwise the scum have won.

Cherie 23-05-2017 09:26 PM

I was going to make a thread that terrorism doesn't work as we all go about our business soon after, like 7/7 people didn't avoid tubes and buses and people are still visiting Paris and Westminster, using planes and trains, but after seeing the above it looks like its working

I wouldn't honestly let it stop you. Security will be at paramount importance after what has happened.

Enjoy it x

Horrifying, but I can't say I'm surprised with what the Westminster Attack and what happened last night being only a few months apart.

I agree.

Also people try to just carry on as best they can to send a message to terrorists in determination to resist their terror activities.

Then we get the daft media, who give such terrorists part of all they hoped for, with endless coverage of the horrific incidents.
