The first six housemates in actually go straight out the back door never to return

The next six in, stay for 6 minutes then are evicted

The another ten go in (this is all in the space for 10 minutes) and are evicted, but three return. Then another 20 go in. 6 get immediate eviction and the rest stay for 22 weeks...

One thing I thought of earlier regarding the pairs would be if they put two random, separate housemates together and told them they have a few days or whatever to convince everyone else that they're one of the pairs - the housemates are eventually told there's a fake pair and they've to vote on who, if they're not chosen than they pass etc

Steph and Mario v 2.0???

I liked Jade and Drew's fake marriage in BBAus :D

This would have probably sounded more original like 10 years back but they haven't done this yet where a set of twins are housemate no.1 and have a secret mission to convince their housemates they are just one person by swapping in and out the house. Do this until the first eviction maybe, or maybe longer.

This has been done a lot on other versions of the show but I've always wanted them to do it on bbuk

This could be cool :D especially if the twins don't get time to talk, so they'd literally have to think on their feet all the time, and try not to say anything the other would contradict.

We've already had a fake marriage in the UK though

I'd love some kind of celebrity v civilian divide, or maybe a shake up in terms of format (follow the US/CAN but allow public voting etc).

Maybe no twist? Or something like the brotherhood from BB7, loved that one!

Do you mean so it's exactly like BBCan/US but with the public voting on evictions and winners?

I think so, Housemates compete in HOH and POV as normal, and then the public either cast an eviction vote like in BB OTT, or have full control.

Ideally: no twist, no manipulations, and an hour or two live-streaming right after the launch.

But if I'm forced to come up with a twist: once all the housemates have entered the house, they are gathered on the sofa and Big Brother announces that this year's prize fund is zero. Over the course of the series, they will be given the chance to win prize fund money by completing tasks (which will hark back to the C4 days whereby tasks spanned several days sometimes). If they lose tasks, break rules or disobey Big Brother, they will lose money.

Just a normal traditional entrance with a diverse mix of hms, young and old.

BB5 called, they want their series back

BBDodge 01-06-2017 06:00 PM

The housemates have a party and all get to know each other as real people in real situations would and we get to stay up into the night to watch them.

I'm pretty sure BB5 started with a prizefund, which then started dropping the more the housemates failed tasks or rebelled against BB. I'm suggesting the prizefund starts at literally zero on day 1.

The best twist for channel 5 would be NO TWIST

BigBrotherGuy100 02-06-2017 10:35 AM

I agree with having no twist, But i'm pretty sure, if C5 Dropped the twist/task on launch, people on here would be complaining of a boring launch....

Captain.Remy 02-06-2017 08:01 PM

Put 30 housemates in, make them starve and see them battle for beds, food and hot water.
At the end of the week, they evict 15 of them and the series can start.

But on a serious note, I would love to see one strategic move that can REALLY change the course of the HMs life: immunity necklaces hidden in some places of the house. Whoever finds one of the necklaces can pull it out once nominations took place and before the reveal so they can be safe.
Whoever gets the most nominations after them is nominated instead.
