Still haven't answered my actual question though.

It depends who it was really. It would probably be similar if it was Chanelle, the people that didn't like her would bring it up but those that supported her would just move past it. If it was someone like Tom then yeah, nobody on here seems to like him so it would probably get brought up every time he done something they didn't like.

It's just how it works I suppose... I don't think anyone agrees with cheating or condones it, but they support the HM regardless because they have other good qualities.

Raph

Your first sentence says it all.

Good post though because you highlighted the point I was trying to make perfectly. We all have our favourites it's part of the show you're right but I still try to see things objectively. If one of my favourites is a twit/out of order I'll call them out.

There's a few in there with partners so it would be interesting to see what people's reactions will be if for example Kayleigh cheats on her boyfriend whilst in the house compared to their reactions at finding out Raph is a serial cheat. Both are equally as wrong but I can't see people forgiving Kayleigh for the same crime as easily. That is double standards, no two ways about it.

Not saying I want anyone to cheat by the way because I don't.

Raph, Chanelle is alright but she's also kind of gross the way she speaks and things she does

Chanelle. I love Raph but Chanelle's definitely more entertaining and a stronger character. That being said, when they reach the final, I'd vote for Raph

Also like I said, would everyone forgive the other housemates so easily for such things? I think not. There's outrage every single year when someone cheats on their partner whilst in the house. Double standards here!

drag it daddy

Jumping into the conversation late but no one is supporting Raph cause he has good qualities. Let's be honest, he's only getting support cause of the fact he posts here. If he didn't you'd be calling to get him out for being pointless.

he seems to have support everywhere else besides here too so you're wrong about that imo

Yeah he's a nice guy so he's getting support. Doesn't change the fact people jumped on board day one purely because he posts on here. He's literally added nothing to the house so far that was entertaining. He just a likeable guy so far and it's being annoying.

Well that's bound to happen though, I don't see the issue personally.

Also, it depends on what you find entertaining, I like that more laid back intelligent type of house mate, god knows we have enough vulgar, argumentative vulgar ones

I don't mind Raph but I don't like the hive-mind mentality people get on here and how every one else in house gets run down so much because the forum favors one person or the other. I think in Raph's his popularity here is a bit undeserved so far (although maybe he'll end up a lot more entertaining in the future).

I'd agree with you on the intelligence comment although I haven't seen much that indicates that Raph is smarter then anyone else in the house.

Do you think it's that bad? I think people have been better about it than i thought tbh but maybe because I'm on the raph side I'm not seeing it as clearly? But look it's unavoidable really, it's an unusual situation for the forum

Excellent post.

If you don't conform with what the majority think on here then your opinion means little.

If a forum favourite does something wrong or is boring as **** then it's okay because forum favourite and all.

If an unpopular housemate is boring or does something wrong then we have hundreds of threads letting us know.

I also don't mind Raph but there is at least 4 other housemates that are better than him at this point in time in my opinion.

Well he's an actual friend so some of us wouldn't be, just like if someone you personally knew went in

Epic. 14-06-2017 11:55 AM

Loving both, but I will go with Raph purely on the basis of him being just a little more unique in what he offers

Vanessa 14-06-2017 11:55 AM

I like Chanelle, but Raph is my favourite. So I pick him.

He was finding himself and was very young, I don't think hes a bad person. My two closest friends have both cheated and they're both good people and I don't think anyone can say they are 'bad'.
