POA easily the best film. Closely followed by the first two and DH-P1.

GOF, OOTP and HBP are horrible movies. But OOTP is one kf my fave books.

I'd say the films for the first couple were much better than the books, which is rare. It has to be Goblet of Fire though... both book and film.

I used to have them all on DVD, but I lent them to a mate of mines daughter a couple of years ago, and haven't seen them since.

It's at times like the upcoming Bank holiday weekend that you miss them most. I like a bank holiday weekend film binge.

No time to miss them, they've joined the very limited itv movie collection. They're shown more often than not.

Surprised by the love for GOF. I thought it was a terrible film.

I've read only the first 4 books a long time ago. I can't remember which one I preferred.

Gambon was far too angry, the exact opposite of the character.

I did episodes 1 to 6 of Star Wars not so long ago.

Yes, not as good as the original trilogy, but they were watchable. I've not and have no intention of watching the more recent ones.

I agree. Harris was perfect as the kind, caring, wise old wizard. His Dumbledore was more like the early books, whilst Gambon's was more like the aggressive, dying, angry Dumbledore in the later books.

Gambon still did a fantastic job and was a good replacement.

I only really like Revenge of the Sith from the prequels.
