Youth don't vote. "Youth need to wake up and get into politics"

Youth rally behind and get passionate about someone you don't like. "Youth are so gullible"

Do I have to mention the elderly with Brexit? That was the very definition of gullible as people fell for Farage and Boris's bull**** that haven't come to pass and will never come to pass.

Yup. :smug:

Kizzy 24-06-2017 07:31 PM

The tories treat everyone as if they're 5! Look at the patronising tone may had when she suggested to that nurse who hadn't had a wage rise in 8yrs there was no 'magic money tree'!! condescending, lying toad!

So it's not a fact about Brexit but it is about Corbyn? Interesting.

It's politics, you can't trust any of them. And you don't know what I like or dislike.

That's because (again) you're making a presumption about why and who voted for Brexit.

Its not only the youth. Are you saying anyone who believes Corbyn politics is gullible?

Potentially. I think anyone who buys into what a politician is telling them is being suckered really. They never keep their promises.

Statistics was put up on here from another website that it was mainly older people that voted for Brexit.

Btw I love how my opinion is presumption but younger people voted Corbyn is a fact.:joker:

That doesn't make sense since we are talking about Glastonbury and not the general election.

You didn't provide any statistics I saw. So I can't comment on the credibility of them. But I do not believe all 17 million people were suckered by Boris and Nigel. I think quite a few people can think for themselves.

The youth woke up in 1930s Germany, how did that turn out?

DemolitionRed 24-06-2017 08:28 PM

The Corbyn revolution!

James Callaghan, the Labour prime minister defeated in 1979, said to his advisor just before polling day, ‘There’s a sea change in politics. Whatever we do, this election is all about Mrs Thatcher.’ Thatcher went on to achieve the largest swing since the war.

There is a sea change now. The 2017 British general election has been all about Mr Corbyn – who has just achieved the biggest increase in party vote-share since the war.

A sea change: not just another election, but a turning of the tide, a massive underlying shift in British politics, a rebirth of reformism, of social democracy, of Labour as the radical popular movement it was always intended to be. We are witness to the beginning of a once-in-a-generation transformation of the whole political landscape. and its so fcuking exciting :cheer2:

The young, the tolerant, and the idealistic voted Labour. The old, the complacent, and the xenophobic voted Tory. This election was about two nations and two visions of what our society should be like

You know what I have practically been accused of being unpatriotic in the past... But today I have never felt more proud to be British :)

Exactly Brother Leon.
It's really tedious now this put down on the young.

No wonder there is a divide.

Just ignore it Joey. Its meaningless because you and I both know that our youth are the future of Britain and whilst some may not like that, its evolution!

How presumptuous.

What about all those poor 'old' Labour voters?

Do you have a study or any statistics to support this claim? xenophobic voted Tory
