I'm pretty sure he was referring to romantic love in his VT. Saying you love your friends doesn't mean you're "in love" with them, it just means you care about/appreciate them.

Also I'd assume he believes in love between family members but yet again that isn't romantic, it's different.

I would take that as a romantic stance.

i know i never take VT with a grain of salt. it really is amazing/surprising how they all been accurate for every HM to walk through those doors. bravo i say.
