Don't know, so maybe she is thinking they have lasted this long she might be in with a shout if she comes up with an original DR angle, kudos to her for not going down the Nicki Graham route or faking being thick

I thought it was perfectly natural for Deborah to slip between accents considering that she comes from a Nigerian family... I sometimes slip between accents, albeit both being British accents so it's not as noticeable.

Her accent changing a little doesn't make her fake or mean she is putting it on, one of my best friends is from Liverpool and she speaks in a really thick accent sometimes and others not.

Yeah, SHOCKINGLY this really isn't a big deal at all. It reminds me of my friend from college who pretty much had her "I'm being interviewed for a job by a white person" voice on when she was on campus and then otherwise had her natural "black" voice and would use that vernacular.

But it does have a totally different angle when it comes to race.

I'm from Wales but lived in London for 7 years and people now think I'm posh lol
