Eeeerr...no it doesn't it has the complete opposite effect and just exposes people who have the inability to defend themselves in conversation.

Neither Chanelle nor Hannah have listening skills. Neither, therefore are particularly intelligent. Neither want to hear the truth so it's a tactic to shut out what is being said. They may learn a little more if they listened. Hard for egotists though...

It quite undeniably ends and defeats arguments (which was my point). Happened twice tonight anyway. She needs to sing it on a global platform in case it has the same effect imo.

It ends arguments in the same way as putting your hands over your ears and shouting 'la la la la la!'

Or hanging up on someone.

Or actually running away from them.

Sure the argument 'stops' when all these things happen as one side has chosen to retreat from the debate. But of course nothing has been 'won' by them. They've just simply given up talking.

Some kids in the playground might think that drowning out your opponent with loud tormenting songs or running away from them constitutes as 'winning the argument' but in the adult world well... that doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Imagine doing it in court! Or on the phone to your insurance company. Or during a debate on 'Question Time'.

I'd say whoever ended up singing it in an adult situation would be the one looking like a dick, not their opponent.

The Twisted sisters and the cheap slapper cover their anger issues with singing this ridiculous song ,Grow up ,were you never taught actions speak louder than words ?
