Something that has always intrigued me watching BB, when the lights go out in the bedroom (and we the viewers see night vision) are the rooms genuinely pitch black or are there mini lights on the ceiling?

In previous series' there was definitely a light switch, but this year it's not been clear.

We had Kieran complaining about the pillow fighting keeping him awake - yet the lights were on. Then in this celeb series, Paul complained because the housemates had to all be in the bedroom for the lights to be turned off... ???
