His after Bachelor videos are an interesting view. He is basically "meant" to be a certain type of character. He was supposed to be a villain both on that and I think C5 chose him for the same reason. But I think he gave it up thinking it's much better to be yourself.
There are vids floating around on YouTube about him having to change his personality for viewers and that he's not really the way he is portrayed. I honestly think C5 expected a character who would punch walls and get angry over anything, when really he is chilled.

Wow, new info that I didn't know. It's so easy to put Chad into the dumb narcissistic American box, but this makes me re-think my attitude towards him. Perhaps his calm low key approach and his bond with Sarah are just what they appear to be - genuine.
We'll not know until they are both sat opposite Emma, but for now I'll look forward to seeing Chad and Sarah sat together on the sofa alone on finals night.
