UGH I'm trying to look for part time work but whenever I send or hand in a CV I just get ignored :( people are so RUDE. And I have experience and my CV is good (not being big-headed, it just is) so I don't understand!

Is your CV too good for the jobs you're going for? If you seem over-qualified for casual / min wage roles you'll end up being overlooked because they assume you'll find a better job and leave (and so be a wasted investment in training time). Tailor your CV to the job you're applying for.

But yeah I remember when I was hardcore jobseeking about 8 years ago, always pissed me off if I went for an interview or sent a CV and no one even bothered to get back to say "unsuccessful".

... ... ... and then I got a temporary, part time, crappy cashier job at a bookies... and then I got duty management training... and then more management... and now it's 8 years later and I've moved twice but I'm still in a ****ing bookies arguing with junkies... :bawling: :bawling: :bawling: I wish they had never bloody replied :joker:.
