I didn't get these elements. I got shouting matches, showmances, and spin the bottle instead.

Like for about ten episodes I was just checking the time, willing it to be over already.

It wasn't terrible it just really wasn't that gripping

People just love to hate tbh it's far superior to Rylans series years ago and I really enjoyed it apart from the terrible finale channel 5 rush through with the winners getting 30 seconds of best bits. Ben frow didn't help things trashing his own channels show.

I really enjoyed it too but that's probably down to Sarah, if she wasn't there it'd be among my least favourites.

Don't get me wrong Sarah was my favourite all series but I expected more from Shaun, Helen, Paul and brandi the producers must be pissed at how low key they were.

He wasn't the guy producers or viewers were expecting was he? He was for the most part very calm and not the fly off the handle Paul everyone is used to.

I dunno, it's been ten years since Dangerous Danan so I think they realised he wouldn't be the same as he was back then. He has calmed down but he was still a big character in there who was central to most of the major events. His conflicts with Sarah and Jemma were some of the main highlights from this series and it was noticeably duller after he left imo

The fact he still goes by dangerous DANAN proves my point. They and we were expecting the same old same old but he came across as some calm straight talking peace keeper.

This whole entire year of Big Brother has been the worst ever and the summer CBB was the first one I watched none of apart from the first few eps!

Crimson Dynamo 29-08-2017 05:16 PM

it was utter sh1te

bots 29-08-2017 05:29 PM

i didn't hate it but it was way too focussed on Sarah and confrontation for my taste.

I think the format is washed out now, it needs to be re-imagined and go on from there.
