Cal. 28-09-2017 01:36 PM

Crimson Dynamo 28-09-2017 01:38 PM

Cherie 28-09-2017 03:25 PM

I've been disappointed in it and Suranne Jones, her acting is a bit hammy and not very believable, think the national tv award has gone to her head

Morgan. 28-09-2017 03:37 PM

Love this show and a great cast as usual!

Daniel-X 28-09-2017 03:42 PM

Think they should've left it after S1, this series has been pretty subpar.

Tbh with me it's the accent. I think she's fine but she struggles to keep up the accent whilst trying to act this meltdown so she's forcing it making it sound like someone's taking the piss out of a posh person. :joker:

Or maybe I'm too used to watching her with her regular Northern accent.

Tbh series 1 wasn't all that. Pretty bog standard. Both series hint at mysteries of hidden agendas or deeper meanings before there isn't any.

The first series just had that cracking sequence in the final episode where she exposed them. But there was a lot of padding and unnecessary slow pacing to get there.

In this series, we've got half an episode being pointless because Gemma's going about telling Kate she slept with Simon in the most convoluted yet pointless way ever.

Did she finally have something on Simon? Was a master plan finally being executed? No, Gamma just wanted to say she shagged Simon and Kate's parents were funding their lifestyle. Something we knew in episode 1.

Lots of meandering and padding that is ultimately not needed.

Did she need to do all of that to lure Kate to a hotel? No, she could've just told Kate's parents and been there when she brought the kid round.

A lot of style over substance.

Yeah but it was bloody brilliant, so glad Simon got his commupence. Now I think one or both of them are going to end up dead, or Tom dies.

Well the poor woman's had about 5 minutes screentime and she's been covered in layers for 4 of them so that doesn't save a 5 hour drama. :nono:

Ross. 03-10-2017 10:09 PM

Loved this :clap1:

Ross. 03-10-2017 10:14 PM

It won't be back for a third series (if it gets one) until 2019 at the earliest </3

Miss Suranne is all booked up until January 2019!

Marsh. 03-10-2017 10:19 PM

A load of hogwash.

Ross. 03-10-2017 10:21 PM

Shut your mouth

Miss Suranne would do well to book herself on any project possible in place of more of this rubbish.

She is literally the WORST friend ever why did Gemma still entertain her

Marsh. 03-10-2017 10:33 PM

10 episodes centred on two of the most selfish and abhorrent people ever.

Get away Tom.

"I'm your mum, I'll be waiting for when you get back"

TOO DAMN LATE LOOV.

Daniel-X 03-10-2017 10:37 PM

Shame they even commissioned a second series, it was terrible.

Marsh. 03-10-2017 11:25 PM

I'm the waitress not caring that a grown man has just burst into tears and rushing them to get their food order in.
