I know he's got to act all authoritative with the walk and the stern voice and those lads are sh*tting themselves :joker:

Oh because they couldn't just say Educating Salford could they? The media would never portray Salford as a city in its own right :skull:

Probably because Salford isn't a well known area like Yorkshire/Essex/Cardiff/East London (they're all generalised mind except Cardiff and Essex)

Oh I see  thanks!

Wizard. 31-08-2017 08:49 PM

AnnieK 31-08-2017 08:54 PM

Aw I forgot this was on. I lived gor a while in Little Hulton where its filmed. Should have been educating Salford. A lot of proud Salfordians will be pissed to be classed as Greater Manchester lol

Would love to be a fly on the wall in a staff room, I bet most teachers find most incidents funny

Yes :skull: our headteacher was a fat greedy irish bloke who then left us to concentrate on another school in the area that was struggling and joined us together. the 'new headteacher' (but i never classified him as one because he was more or less the deputy in my eyes) was just a lanky twat who had no personality and couldn't run the school properly

That shocked me! Although not really I was wondering why a girl wearing a hijab ran away from my dog when it went up to her.

Speaking as someone with a similar role to Mrs Bland and who has been a TA ... can confirm ;)

Finished this series last week and it was brilliant as usual. Leon :clap2:
A great fan of the Educating series, and I read they're doing two more series in Harrop for the first time - so it's wonderful news.

Started watching now Indian Summer School which is currently on C4. Does anybody else watch it? It's a different production and concept, but C4 and education-related factual series turns out to be a pretty good combination.

Wizard. 07-04-2018 07:06 PM

Oh yeah for the first time they’re doing a second Educating GM at Harrop Fold it was such a success x
