She's good

caprimint 29-08-2017 03:23 PM

It's crazy, when she was at her best she was underrated and now she's overrated

The power of mainstream pop

Well, I just did...sorry, hon.

FB, Twitter, Snapchat and IG???

Apart from her die hard fans, not a lot of people bother with those, so basically clubs and radio? Never thought she was overplayed on the radio either and I don't go to clubs anymore, so I can't comment.

I never saw article after article or see Rih's video on the music channels like i'm seeing with TS. Literally everywhere.

yes people posting the lyrics and people posting videos of them singing along to it.getting ready/going to the club/at the club

And It may not have been played a lot like despacito but it was a song that was on the radio a lot and you hear it in shops etc  so yeah the song was everywhere and it deserved to

and Rihanna did have loads of articles at the time most of it was about her 'relationship' with Drake.

me starting this discussion :flutter:

Nancy just hates Taylor, we get it and it's getting bloody boring now.

Still not on the same level as what i'm seeing with TS. I gave two other examples and neither of them had the same level of exposure as what TS has and you can't say they have.

Jordan. 29-08-2017 03:56 PM

She's the singing embodiment of white girl problems, you've heard one taylor swift song you've heard them all.

No, I don't. I actually have her 1989 album. I just find the the amount of sickly sweet adoration she's receiving way OTT. Anyone would think she's a goddess the way people are carrying on. Not a pop star. :joker:

Ross. 29-08-2017 04:24 PM

She is a goddess though!

For her earlier albums this would be a valid criticism. Her last two though are genuinely brilliant.

RileyH 29-08-2017 05:43 PM

1989 and Red are great albums.
