This.

Isn't the forum primarily built to discuss a show where women masturbate with wine bottles and men sh*t in the freezer?

Marsh. 02-10-2017 02:51 PM

I'd also hazard a guess that most people who complain about it are those who pride themselves on never even bothering with the chat thread anyway.

And don't say it's because of the filth, because it was like that long before Lilbro got too comfortable.

I suppose I'm not surprised that the most repetitive and boring offender with this is getting so defensive in here

You're guess would be wrong, every member that's reported that the comments were making them uncomfortable are members that post in there daily.

And the chat threads for anyone, not just the regular posters.

I never said they weren't for everyone.

I was just making an observation about people sharing an opinion when something like this happens when they themselves don't bother with them.

:suspect:

I suspect you mean me, but you'd be hard pressed to find many posts of mine on the level of Lilbro's within the last 12 months.

And my point was it doesn't matter if someone that doesn't post in the chat thread reports it, they possibly still read it but the comments put them off posting..

I never mentioned who reported it.
Clearly many people across the forum had a problem with Lilbro's posts, rightly so given some of the threads he made built around the topic.

I was talking about these discussions that happen after something happens to get the thread closed.

Yeah I know that Marsh, but you were obviously making some kind of point with your comment, however like I said it was regular chat thread posters that complained so whatever your point was it's moot

Amy Jade 02-10-2017 03:05 PM

Don't know what was said but I think speaking about sexuality and sex is perfectly normal. At 13 I definitely knew what it was.

Yes, and I clearly wasn't referring to them.

But some of the complainants are people who don't bother with them anyway, as evidenced by your response that they're just as valid as anyone else's.

Which is true, they are. I'll just pass comment on the fact I think it's silly.

It would be like Scott constantly reporting certain things within SD when he purposely avoids that section like the plague. :hee:

Its was constant overly graphic sexual comments, if people want to discuss things like that they can go elsewhere tbh.
