Or does "TIBB" have feelings?

Potential for a comeback if BB improves and more members post on off-season, but idk it just seems more ~basic compared to years ago

Withano 19-10-2017 05:25 PM

This is the first time in ages that there hasnt been some upcoming political mess to discuss tbf, thats probs why. Lets convince the tories to have the snappiest referendelection yet.

Cherie 19-10-2017 05:45 PM

Ironic that it's mostly members who have returned from long bans that are moaning :hehe:

I was just thinking earlier today it seems really quiet, more than it's been since I joined. I haven't posted in the chat threads in ages though so maybe that's why it felt busier for me before. There's a lot of people who don't post much nowadays though that did until recently so there's that too.

A post Trump slump? Come to think of it this time last year was the US election and all the threads that came along with it so maybe you're right.

T* 19-10-2017 06:13 PM

wait how did a banned member vote in a poll

Smithy 19-10-2017 06:15 PM

They can, a better question is why is a banned member still on this site when they can’t post for months

Maybe this type of post is contributing to the decline

It's been stagnant ever since Ammi left us

I think the show's uncertain future is kinda emblematic of the forum... it's long past its heyday but still serves a purpose to many fans.

There's a big dip in creativity of threads, and enduring games*, on here that kept a lot entertained and I know my "output" has been a lot lower than usual, but that's natural and inevitable since I'm ancient now.

All in all I'm not complaining too much because I have other sites I use for whatever takes my fancy but I do think there's a certain... comfortability with stagnation in the higher ranks on here :pipe:

*I know there are still lots that take place, but IMO they're all pretty much the same game under a different name. Something more creative and requiring more thought would be nice: like bringing back the photography contest, or The Apprentice (I remember this used to be how James/Mark would actually hire moderators, because the tasks would be largely geared towards creating something productive for the forum ) or Next Top Model (I know most would be uncomfortable with that now, though), or something that isn't just... a Big Brother competition format fulled to the brim with pre-teens acting melodramatically.

thesheriff443 19-10-2017 06:54 PM

Higher ranks, there are no higher ranks only members that think they are.

This sounds brilliant

Didn't someone try and bring the photography thing back recently, or something similar to it? I'm sure I remember something about that being mentioned fairly recently

Shaun 19-10-2017 07:04 PM

I know it wasn't the official point of the games but I remember them hiring SiaSiaSia and I think Lauren because they won two editions of it (and then I won the third and they clearly reconsidered that deal)

I didnt know this..and really like that idea

Calderyon 19-10-2017 09:06 PM

To the question, not at the moment. On the off-season, the action seems to be mostly on the chat thread section of the forum while the rest of the forum is considerably quieter.

Firewire 19-10-2017 09:08 PM

Yes she's dead
