I hope someones left to pick up the litter.

The families of these people must be devastated. All the more reason that I'm incredulous that these people intentionally put themselves in harm's way. I'm not sure that's "joyless", that's how I feel, and I'm not alone.

This forum is often joyless. This thread is not the reason for that.
