I guess the prize will be along the lines of the winner gets to perform on stage with someone like Ed Sheeran (or more likely, say, James Arthur or Little Mix).

It actually says a “money-can’t-buy prize” so perhaps some sort of duet? Or their song will be played on the moon? Idk

Maybe the weekly winner could get to release a single while the show is still airing.

I just don’t understand. The point in a sing off was people ‘singing for their life’ - putting all the emotion in, seeing them fight for it. They won’t care. The crowd won’t care. Will anybody even watch the extra bit whenever they plan on doing it? All weird

They'll do it before an elimination or before something important so people don't switch off

It would be interesting if the prize was like £50,000 cold hard cash. Then maybe they would sing their ass off.


On another note, do you think this might hinder people’s chance of winning? Depending on the prize, come the final say someone has one this ‘prize’ once or twice already, it might put people off voting for them to win?

I'm pretty sure the prize they just revealed can be bought with money. :hee:

I’m sure the audience is emotionally invested enough to send someone who’s already living pretty lavishly on an all inclusive trip to New York...

And if it's like most XF series the same person will win almost every week - so they'll get like everything
