I mean he's clearly still mad he lost to her.

Yeah, but I don’t think she is to the extent to Raph and us are

Morgan. 05-11-2017 01:45 PM

Issy strikes me as a casual viewer tbh (doesn't go out of her way to watch an episode but if it's on will watch) whereas Raph and Debs obviously watch every episode, or at least try to.

Daniel. 05-11-2017 01:48 PM

When will Raph realise he lost because he was dull and not because he is apparently a ‘person of colour’

Jordan. 05-11-2017 01:53 PM

If I was Deborah I'd honestly be offended at a rich white trump voting male considering themselves as "cursed" as me.

Macie Lightfoot 05-11-2017 01:56 PM

yeah like a well-groomed, well-to-do rich guy who is half (?) Asian thinking his BBUK Winner fate was sealed just as much as the young black girl who talked in the DR exclusively in A Black Accent is absurd. And like, for being such a ~gameplayer~... Isabelle won bc she played the best game whether she knew it or not.

This. And Isabelle remains unbothered. I always say with these shows, I don't actually care if a housemate is fake in the house or putting on an act and are totally different on the outside world, if I liked you on the TV show and you were popular and won because of it, you played an amazing game and came up with a good character so props to you.

Well even if Raph had won, I wouldn't say the curse would have been broken seeing as Jun won BBUSA. Also Brian Belo won so meh there's no 'people of colour' curse. Isabelle is technically the first orange winner of Big Brother so she breaks boundaries.

I've never really understood the whole 'defying the odds' thing when someone like Isabelle is far more representative of the least-winning archetype on this show than someone like Raph (or any other male for that matter.) Women in general, especially sexually-confident women always have and always will get the shit end of the stick on Big Brother. Heck, the fact both Isabelle and Savannah were topping the votes against the entire house when they were only in there for a week pretty much tells you all you need to know about this show.

Raph as confirmed he is bitter

Jack_ 05-11-2017 02:12 PM

People on here are weird, of course he's going to be bitter he didn't win. Most of you would be too if you came within an inch of winning £100k and/or your favourite show :umm2:

I don't agree with his theories of why he thinks he lost, but I still understand why he's disappointed

Jason. 05-11-2017 02:12 PM

Also why is Chanelle critcising people for fame getting to their heads when she's brought into her own hype more than anyone else that series? Gerruh job.

Why not? How do you, I, or anyone else on this forum know exactly what has happened between the three of them? All we know of them is the 48 minutes a night we watched over the summer, we don't know them as people (well, a few do) or what they're like in their real lives...pretty difficult to surmise who's in the right and who's in the wrong.

Winning Big Brother is not a prerequisite to 'I must like this person forever'.

Denver 05-11-2017 02:20 PM

Issy isnot a bad person you would have to worship Satan to hate her

A white person winning again doesn't mean a curse. It means that this particular white person (Isabelle) was favored the most (and for good reason).

Have you met her then or are you just someone who believes that you know her because you watched her on TV for 48 minutes a day over 7 weeks?

For what it's worth, I don't disagree, and I'd guess that I'd probably get on more with Issy than I would Chanelle in real life. But the fact is I don't know that for sure, and I (along with everyone else) certainly don't know the circumstances in which all of these issues seem to have arisen. Someone doesn't have to be a bad person per se to fall out with them.

Yepp. Big brother ended months ago and they were fine post-bb for weeks, it’s only recently this happened so something might have happened but we will never know, if raph turned on her for beating him he would have done it straight after BB and not months later. We will have to wait and see if they spill

Comments like these make me wonder why the forum still doesn't have a like button

I mean, I think there's a huge difference in attitudes between "man, I really wish I won. I'm a huge fan of BBUK so it would have been nice" and "Deborah and I know why we didn't win :smug::smug::smug: we were screwed from the get-go for reasons." It's just not a good look when you're still making excuses for why you lost months later instead of just realizing that Isabelle played a better game. Whether or not it's intentional, it's almost like he's trying to undermine her win and imply that she only won because she's white.

Jodie. 05-11-2017 02:37 PM

If Isabelle was a black gal would she still have won? I actually think yes

I have detected Issy SHADE for so long and I WANT to know why

Jordan. 05-11-2017 02:37 PM

Anyway I just love that Issy is paying all their indirects DUST
