you can add other ingredients, it doesn't have to be crisps on there own.

Perhaps i should do a recipe book

Nicely buttered bread, ready salted crisps (scrunched up) and a mayo coating on the top slice of bread.
Cheese and onion do the trick as well.

I love that Ireland has its own brand of crisps and it's just called "Taytos". Like this idea actually makes my day.

Taytos in Ireland is like Coke or Hoover, we just call crisps Taytos  But actual Taytos are the best crisp

I like golden wonders on buttys they're thinner

caprimint 24-11-2017 10:32 AM

Even the word 'butty' is awful

Why would you say that when there's a perfectly valid 'sandwich' :suspect:

I have never heard 'piece' used as an alternative for 'sandwich' before :joker:

Niamh. 24-11-2017 10:54 AM

I though piece was a slang term for gun?

Niamh. 24-11-2017 10:55 AM

I'd probably actually say a tayto sambo though

I'd ask someone to repeat again in English if they said that to me

Because that's what it's called where I come from.

I have to admit, I do enjoy a crisp butty from time to time but it has to be with Pringles and not just any old bag or crisps. Cheese and Onion or Texas BBQ butties are the best. Try it.
