We need some sort of word to describe a person who homes in their hate on a specific religion. Hitler and Nazi Germany claimed they were anti-semite and yet semitic religions are Christianity, Judaism and Islam. In fact any religion with origins in the Middle East and who only believe in one God are semitic; therefore, a Muslim can not be anti-semite and neither can a Christian. Hitler simply hated the Jewish ideology, just as people today hate the Islamic ideology. If you look through our history books, most religions have suffered persecution at some point or other due to their ideology.

Hating Islam is no different than hating Jews.
