He may not fit the biological definition of 'male' but he identifies as a man and I see him as a man

Livia 04-01-2018 01:57 PM

He's a transsexual man. Not like someone born a man, different... but worth just as much.

LukeB 04-01-2018 02:03 PM

Yes

Just like Nadia is a woman like the females on tibb

Cherie 04-01-2018 02:06 PM

I view Luke A as male, I view India as female given what they have gone through to be what they want to be they have earned the title

you're not here to discuss the females on TiBB though.

I agree, I think once you have completed a transition, you should be regarded as that gender.

RileyH 04-01-2018 02:13 PM

definitely

I kind of agree with both of these simultaneously

A transwoman is a transwoman and a transman is a transman.

But 'rights' wise I do think they should be regarded as the sex they want to be...IF fully transitioned.

But I do think the current few exceptions should remain in the law as it stands for even fully transitioned people (ie. female only rape crisis centres, a transsexual woman could not work there as its female only)

Yes of course.

caprimint 04-01-2018 02:47 PM

What's the difference between transsexual and transgender? :suspect:

Transsexual - a person who emotionally and psychologically feels that they belong to the opposite sex.
Transgender - denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex.

But that's basically the same thing with different wording?

Jamie89 04-01-2018 02:56 PM

I find the difference a bit confusing too, but I THINK that transgender is an umbrella term which lots of different things fall under, and transexual is one of those things. So it's not that they're the same or separate but one is part of the other. Ie. if you're transexual you are also transgender, but being transgender doesn't mean you are necessarily transexual... if that makes sense?

edit to add (I could be wrong)

Vicky. 04-01-2018 02:58 PM

Transsexual is someone who suffers sex dysphoria and wants to be the opposite sex

Transgender is anyone under this

Including people who do not suffer any dysphoria at all but still claim they are the opposite sex and are so deluded that they say things like 'my penis is a female organ as it is attached to a woman' whilst not actually being transsexual! Its all a big cluster**** at the moment tbh.

This is correct. The transumbrella is so wide basically every person falls under it. we are all transgender :D

It was actually your transumbrella I was thinking of from a previous discussion about this but I couldn't quite remember if I'd got it right or not

Has Luke A fully transitioned now? This is a genuine question before anyone jumps on me. I know when he was in the house he hadn't had the full reassignment and was quite open about that and wondered if he now has?

Not sure..didn't he say that he wanted to buy a dick with the prize money? Sure I remember that for some reason D:

Daniel-X 04-01-2018 03:33 PM

Don't see why anyone wouldn't.

This is the most recent I can find. Putting off the op as the neopenises (is this the right term?! I know the surgically created 'vaginas' are called neovaginas  ) are not too good at the moment basically. Which is true. I have seen a few results photos and its definitely not as advanced as the MtF surgery is. But I guess..going with the sexism line again...MtF people are male, so male advances come before female.
