I suggest for you the Dad's Army boxset, It'll bring laughter to your life and that'd be a change for you from arguing on here until you get the last word in. |

A really good effort at baiting though. |

A good effort at baiting? You were the one who butted in. TS obviously put the Dad's Army part in for me, as we've had a discussion on it before. I currently have the last word (Now I'm baiting) |
So Friends is fun, huh

More laughable and nonsensical hypocriticism. I didn't butt in, it's a public forum. You want privacy? Go elsewhere. (And they say Friends' viewers have no sense of humour) |
I lied, I don't care for Friends
|
WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE I just watched the episode just after Ross and Rachel broke up and I haven't seen it before??? They all went skiing except Ross. Joey wrote a help sign that said "pleh". I'm on the next episode now and I've definitely seen it multiple times... And all the others I can see in the list.
I'm so confused and upset. How did this happen? Also when did this thread turn into a fight... Lol... |

The one where they all go skiing is a classic. :nono:
Although it reminds me of when Friends first moved to comedy central and I came across The One with the Cooking Class and I'd NEVER seen it before despite watching the show on E4 endlessly. I was shook to my very core. |

Even weirder, seasons 2 - 4 were the ones my sister had (on VHS :hee: ) in our teens and she was always putting those tapes on, so those seasons are the ones I've seen like 4, 5 times... ... And yet here's this episode, right in the middle of season 3, immediately following the "big break up" episode, and I had never seen it. AND I always thought it was weird that Rachel and Ross just went straight to sort of hanging around together immediately after breaking up, I've thought for years "wouldn't they avoid each other at least for a while?". This is a time of revelation. |
Yeah E4 did the same with How I Met Your Mother. Most of their best jokes were censored out it was so bad.
|
It's especially bad when it makes people seem to say things for no reason - it'd be better if they cut out the whole joke, rather than just the punchline, and leaving in contextless lines.

Except E4 cut out the Chandler part, so it's just Monica saying something random and then the crazy laughter that makes absolutely no sense . [edit] Oh and the same with the one with Joey's stalker when they all pretend he's Drake, and Chandler says "And you left the toilet seat up... you BASTARD!!"before he throws his glass of water in his face - the humour obviously being in how over the top it is... 'cept on E4 it's just "And you left the toilet seat up [cut]" |

Haven't watched it since it left E4, some I'm loving rewatching it in order, about to reach S4

The number of lines that ended in "bitch" and I never even realised.
|
There were a few 'bastards' as well that were always cut over here... I think it's less offensive in the US, or more acceptable on TV.
|
I watched it first when it was repeated on Sky One at tea-time, and I don't think they edited it. But, apparently Channel 4 were always editing it for that time-slot.
