I think there’s a clause where if they have celebrity they have to have civilian as well as a bundle theres no one without the other

Oaker 19-01-2018 07:46 PM

Maybe they'll just make the civilian series like 30 days long and be on after CBB so they can keep CBB

T* 19-01-2018 07:47 PM

launch night : 16 in 16 out

Eddie. 19-01-2018 10:53 PM

Even the celebrity series is flopping now...

BigBrotherGuy100 19-01-2018 11:13 PM

I feel they are going to try and keep it till it's 20th anniversary. Would be nice to see Davina back Hosting, with Brian and Emma helping. Maybe get Dermot and Russel back for bit on the side with Rylan.

Handing her the cue cards before each link?

i don't find ratings that bad tbh, compared to some of us dutch shows like Utopia, our own sort of inspired BB reality shows which scores less than 100k viewers :joker:

1.5 million is pretty decent i think

I think it'll be off air for 2019. I can't see a channel being able to resist relaunching it with a 20th anniversary special in summer 2020. Whether that will do well, idk considering it wouldn't be much of a relaunch with the show only being off air for like 2 years.

I think it’s a different case for BB because of its once massive popularity and the fact there is still potential for it which is ignored by C5 in favour of treating their viewers like idiots basically. There is a trend right now of bringing old shows back - e.g. Dancing on Ice, The Crystal Maze, etc. I believe there is still potential for C4 even to bring it back and actually revive it well (if they would or not is a different story, they may act snobby and see it as too low brow etc.) In theory they could rest it in 2019 and do the 20th anniversary thing, they’ll just have to try and sweep the C5 series’ under the carpet (like C5 basically did with C4 lol), focus on how it used to be, and promote it like crazy everywhere and promote it as a continuation of the original series and an actual revival, then it could actually be a massive success. Nostalgia sells.

we better be credited for this!!!!

It's the end.

But the moment has been prepared for

Denver 30-06-2018 10:06 PM

The fact is the amount of people watching TV each night is drastically declining.

In the 60s/70s a good 80% of people would watch TV at night then 5 years ago 20 plus million now probably 14/15 million in the week days
