Renee was the biggest scum of CBB18 (obviously IMO but to each their own)

Oh come on, Bear was such a hoot. Brilliant housemate. He ruled that House :joker:

This reads to me as basically...how dare people like a housemate I don't or dislike a housemate I like.
Shane has been quite bitchy and two faced in the house, so I find it odd that you seem to be chastising people for noticing and discussing this, and saying hes a lovely person (in your opinion) so noone should speak negatively of him. I have not seen a bad side of Amanda tbh, but also have not really seen people slagging her off. I understand them discussing Shane in a bad way though...he started off fantastically but hes been awful since disappearing up Andrew arse As for this Quote:

I loved Bear. Awful awful person but fantastic housemate. Livened up the series for me tbh, would have been dead without him  Most people I think are good housemates I would absolutely hate to live with, but I don't have to live with them, I just get to watch them piss off the others who have to live with them :D

The public has always loved to tear someone down. It always happens each summer, where the odds favorite mid-series comes under absurd scrutiny for asinine reasons with two weeks left to go, people at Digital Spy claim "ur mask is slipping hun.....x," and then they finish 3rd-5th. Happens just about every year.

Also Bear never called anybody manipulative or stirrers, he didn't care enough he was just in there to cause trouble. |
People see redeeming features in different housemates that other people may not.
People’s hierarchy of what constitutes a negative trait differs. For example some people may see rowdy behaviour as the worst thing in their hierarchy of negativity wheras other people may see slyness or moodyness as the worst trait. Different strokes for different folks. |

It seems the common thread is not really how nasty/nice someone is, but how alpha they are...
Like a lot of people here really seem to deviate towards the alpha females (edit) because they stand out unapologetically. And I guess for the males, if they go after the weak and feeble (wannabe alphas) but perhaps do it in a more feminist way (the audience is more female), then that tends to be more attractive... Alpha does seem to vary a little bit though based on how old fashioned the voter is or where their value scale falls. I can see where some people will be like "Yeah Ann, no, she hides by her traditions/stereotypes to insulate herself"... Whereas I'm like Ann is a thug life superwoman. Plus we share the same name (well, Ann is middle for me), so there's little things like that that we personally connect with. Sometimes by the end of BB, the supposed betas start to gravitate towards the top as the other alphas self-implode from their own overconfidence and their character in that environment seems to 'dominate' in that they didn't let all the tasks and silliness pick them off... usually it's after they've made some stand like "Hey *, you're a douchebag *exposed*", and snatched alpha status from the remainder of that former alpha's smoldering ego... |
You can't pigeon hole all of us :nono:.
I was a supporter of Rachel BB9 :hmph:, I was happy when she won . |
