It's not Emma's job to research facts.

She probably didn't hug Ann because Ann didn't want to hug Emma or if I were in Emma's position I wouldn't hug the difficult rancid cow either

I timed how long she pressed her about changing her opinion....you dont want to know for how long and how many times she asked her....wasnt nice to watch.

Emma did the right thing. Ann was deliberately difficult because that’s the persona she has chosen to give herself so she can hardly change right at the end. The act secures her another panto season.

I quite like Ann but I think she may be strapped for cash and at her age I don’t think she can secure an income in any other way.

Your research is about as good as Emma's. She's old, she must be broke.

"Ann is the former MP for Maidstone, Ann is an author, writer, broadcaster and outstanding speaker who is also extremely well known for her many TV appearances and strong opinions. Her impressive and extensive political and television career make Miss Widdecombe a highly interesting and well experienced public speaker and allowing her to be at ease with any audience and any event, corporate or private. Ann is also happy to take any questions post-speech, dealing with them as a true politician."

Cost per appearance: £4-5000

Did you see her interview with Rylan? He did a better job than Emma (although still cringeworthy).

Yeah miserable ann is that type to do that tbh, and the way she tried to show up Emma was unnecessary so it’s understandable why they wouldn’t hug each other.

It was quite a while I bet. It was bloody shameful, Parm.

How is telling someone if she asks the same question, she will get the same answer being rude ? Emma should have been content with her first answer,I know you don't like Ann but really, she was not rude,Emma was unprofessional.

I love you with all my heart, AJ, but it IS Emma's job to get it right. She's the one who looks stupid if the research is wrong. It made her look cold and rude and not at all impartial.

Thing is, I'm delighted Shane J won I liked him from the start. But I'm appalled at how judgemental this forum has been while those in the house (with the exception of India and Andrew) came to a kind of mutully respectful peace.

I thought it was all very patronising. But yes, he did a better job. Just.

Strange you can't see it, Luke. You're usually saying how everyone should be inclusive and accepting of others. But not in this case.

Well, she should've kept her mouth shut about her cats then, shouldn't she?

At this stage of her BB career, she should be prepared to handle "difficult" hm's.

If I was Ann, I wouldn't have wanted to give her a hug either after such an unprofessional interview, but as we've seen, she doesn't hold grudges with people she's clashed with. Even if she had wanted to hug Emma, she didn't give her a chance considering she was up the stairs like lightening. I used to really like Emma, but her interview technique leaves a lot to be desired. She's certainly no Davina.

Denver 03-02-2018 11:47 AM

Davina would never be so petty

Underscore 03-02-2018 11:48 AM

who'd want to hug her tho????

Livia 03-02-2018 11:49 AM

I am so disgusted by this forum today.

Beso 03-02-2018 11:51 AM

No wonder she had to rush off, it takes the hopeless cow 2 mins to say 8 words..
Ann was like a two day coke binge in her delivery compared to emma who sounded like she had just chuffed half an ounce of weed.

Me too Livia. I've seen very few if any sour grapes threads, but so many threads from people doing exactly what they don't want done to themselves

No, no sour grapes to be seen. I liked Ann, but I liked Shane J too. I think they handled the situation the best they could.... but I'm actually shocked at the spite and the venom.

I'm not Livia, it's been getting worse and worse and so hypocritical, people spout hate and venom and when it,s bounced back they cry foul:shrug: no wonder the place is quiet :wavey:

And now anns responsible for the countless deaths her views have caused.:joker:

You have to put a laugh smiley or you would give up.

Tom4784 03-02-2018 01:16 PM

I'd refuse to hug her too, she was an utter hag to Emma in that interview when all Emma did was follow instructions given to her.

Cherie 03-02-2018 01:47 PM

Emma should have at least offered a hand shake she is representing the show, not herself, Ann was runner up and commanded a huge slice of the voting percentage, personal bias is never welcome in the workplace

bots 03-02-2018 01:49 PM

i didn't think it was the case, but if Emma didn't hug Ann out of some form of spite, I would be very disappointed in her. Ann has said repeatedly that she isn't comfortable with shows of affection, and I thought Emma was respecting that

Shaun 03-02-2018 02:07 PM

Ann had just spent the latter half of the interview insulting Emma and her line of questioning, it's not really that surprising.

reece(: 03-02-2018 02:39 PM

Emma did well not to drag Ann

Crimson Dynamo 03-02-2018 02:50 PM

emma is vile now
