Just because she’s an interviewer why would she have any idea about her cat dying? Has Ann publicly stated that her cat had died before hand, or released an article on it?

It’d be like someone not knowing my nan is dead. It’s not that deep.

How was Emma supposed to know her cats were dead? She can't exactly pop in the house and be like "by the way Ann babes, those cats you mentioned, are they still alive? x"

Exactly. Ann’s cats dying didn’t make the headlines:joker: so how are we suppose to know. Emma has a secret camera in her house?

Jake. 03-02-2018 12:04 PM

We all have pets who come and go, people can’t be expected to keep tabs

I swear to god this is honestly ridiculous lol

Yes i do say that but i draw the line with anyone who isn’t accepting back and plus Ann’s views are what i’m against she has the right to have them but i will never agree with her or like her. She never won me over in the house because she seemed miserable and always moaning about tasks by refusing to take part and had to be forced to it. Why go on big brother

She always threw herself into tasks very willingly, even winning for the team:shrug:

How would she know she had cats is the question really, if they are dead I doubt Ann would have talking about them in glowing living terms during her pre house assessments

After going to the DR just like she did when she had to be a spice girl but did it because she was allowed to roar instead of singing?

Twosugars 03-02-2018 12:14 PM

It was unprofessional. Ch5 producers/researchers are to blame for not briefing Emma correctly. Emma doesn't do research so leave her alone.
Don't know if they knew and forgot to get it right or made a lazy assumption that as a cat lover she had new cats.
Emma asking that question looked awful. It was only luck that Ann wasn't touchy on the subject. Still, the stink remains and Ann's troops are making the most of it.

y.winter 03-02-2018 12:16 PM

Why do people think that Emma should know the state of Ann's cat? She barely knows the state of the housemates inside the house...

It was an unfortunate mistake...

actually, she brought the subject up not Ann, and a good presenter makes sure they know what they are presenting. How can she have a dialog and interaction if she is not familiar with the subject matter. Don't blame the researchers

Cherie 03-02-2018 12:19 PM

I didn't care about the cat comment so much as it was water off a ducks back, what annoyed me was Emma pushing that Ann must be terribly lonely, what was all that about

No i wasn’t, i have a cat who i adore more than humans. I’m just saying emma didn’t know about ann’s cats being dead so there shouldn’t be an issue or be sensitive over it. I don’t know why its made out i was jumping for joy at cats dying :s

Take this thread with a pinch of salt. Adam does this a LOT with members on here too - he assumes people think/know things when they actually do not :joker:

You'll probably be reported for that even though he's openly attacked members in this thread. Boy is a tragedy.

She knew she has/had cats as part of her "living alone" story. This information might have slipped away. She didn't do a doctorate on Ann's life and it wasn't even the main subject of her question.
Not sure why people make such a big deal of it - she said it, proved wrong, sort of apologized - moving on. Ann didn't look too bothered any way, she's a tough lady...
