I think the main thing is that it's all speculation on if Corbyn was an IRA sympathiser, it's not 100% fact that he was in bed with the IRA.

Tbf nobody truly knows if he was an IRA supporter or not, but it is suppose to be innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent.

It's a weird argument to make 'Jeremy Corbyn is obviously a terrible choice because this person supports him!' Especially considering that a lot of the people who will jump on this will have defended Donald Trump in other threads despite the fact that it's very well known that the KKK are very vocal supporters of him.

Supporters are not indicative of a person's suitabiity for leadership, their actions are.

It's not very good for Corbyn to have an ex-IRA person supporting him to win a UK Election, people in this country will just deliberately vote for May just to spite Gerry Adams.

It's a stupid reason to vote on, an inconsistent one too considering that people are still likely going to vote for Tories despite the fact that they are in bed with the DWP and have more than their fair share of dodgy donators and supporters but that doesn't make for such good clickbait so that won't get the column inches it deserves.

Vote on policies and actions, not on clickbait.

I agree with you personally, it's just that I can already see this news story badly hurting Corbyn's vote as the UK doesn't seem to care as much about the DUP compared to Sinn Fein.

Did you know that Nick Griffin is also team Corbyn.
