Indeed and its a problem that I hope you and brillo resolve going forward

Several Brillo threads have been made (not by me), which i agree should probably stop. I’m sure infractions are giving out like free balloons within them though.

Any fourth other member you want to negatively discuss in this thread LT? :hee:
Edit, fifth

Also, I don’t think there’s any point in singuling out Dezzy when he’s got rules he has to follow, whether he agrees with them or not.

The problem there is that yes there are rules and they should be adhered to whoever you are if you are participating in a thread.

I would also add that admin just ignoring pms is not helping the situation, we all understand you have a life James, but even an acknowledgement that you have received the pm and will get round to it when you are good and ready would go some way to easing the frustrations felt.

Keep up the good work mods, no one is above the rules regardless of how busy the forum is. Let the tantrums occur

No one is 'attacking Mods' per se and post such as yours do not help this matter.

The members involved here are not naive young teenagers who are not actively involved with what is a very real issue but are decent, mature and intelligent people - most of them long-standing members - who have a very valid grievance.

Unfortunately, these members are caught in a 'Catch 22' situation by Forum Rules, because merely answering posts like yours with any type of detailed explanation of the problem actually breaches forum rules.

When someone finds another person to be nice, amiable and decent it is hard to accept that other people can have experienced real issues from that same person with him/her not being so nice, amiable or decent, but someone's personality whilst, say, playing games, may not always be the same when engaged in say, Serious Debates.

Rather like the husband who is charming and affable when out in the pub, but who batters his partner regularly during domestic arguments behind closed doors.

So it would help to refrain from inferring that these members are 'throwing tantrums' because they think that they are 'above the rules' because that is simply NOT the case.

These members grievance is simply that they want to be treated equitably WITHIN the rules.

Is the moderating of a reality forum really being compared to domestic violence :skull: None of your issues will be sorted until you learn to stop taking an irrelevant forum so seriously and by the looks of things we're still far from that.

Yes, it is being compared in as much that people in a certain environment are not always as they appear to be in another environment.

As for the text which I have emboldened, if certain members are GENUINELY being discriminated against and treated punitively in comparison to certain other members then THAT demands to be taken seriously.

The irony of a certain member who crusades for 'Equality' for Muslims and non-Whites and Gays etc is glaring when that same person is the very one at the heart of this very complex long-standing issue about equality for ALL members.

Ideals - like Charity - begin at home. Or SHOULD do.

As for this forum being 'irrelevant' (YOUR words not mine), that may well be so as far as Chat and Games is concerned, but those regular contributors to Serous Debates might not view TIBB as 'irrelevant' - I certainly don't.

yet you begged to come back after a lengthy ban? Look you are not involved in this, you rarely if ever post in SD so maybe it isn't for you to comment on how others feel?

You can't really comment on how others feel can you? you can comment on your own feelings of course.
