You mean more of what we have now? :joker:

Look at Xhaka and Mustafi; we paid 70 million for those two.

At least with hope he will buy Minoglet from us .

I think he only made like 4/5 successful signings at Liverpool

Again, just like Wenger. After Sanchez, I reckon Elneny has been Wengers next best recent signing. He's the only player I can think of who looks better now than before we signed him - TBH he should play more games. Underrated IMO - Everyone else looks worse now they've come to Arsenal :smug:

i think he looks much better than he did at Arsenal, I didn't think he would stand much of a chance in your midfield but he looks likes he's fitting in just fine. If he had stayed at Arsenal he still be out wide IMO. Debuchys doing well in France scoring goals, Coquelin scored his first ever goal in spain less than a month after leaving, then there's Walcott - I think I was right about him all along.:joker:

He has apparently been sacked but they let him go out with dignity

Mystic Mock 21-04-2018 04:09 AM

He has been an iconic manager for the not just Arsenal but the Premier League too.

And as a Blues fan I always used to dread us playing Wenger's sides when we was in the Premier League as Wenger like Sir Alex could always make the opposition scared of his sides. And also I wouldn't moan at 6th place in the Premier League and being in the Semi-Final of the Europa League against Atletico Madrid either.

He has done a great job with Arsenal over these 22 years, and I hope that he decides to manage elsewhere rather than retiring.

Heard this too. The empty seats, not the poor results, finally made Kroenke take action. Another indication of the state of the club.

Ambivalent about this news, really.

Of course I'm primarily sad because he's been there since I was six years old... and he's lifted the club to a huge power. Plus I just genuinely like the guy, in spite of his stubbornness and dated qualities. I'm going to miss that wry smile.

But I'm more fearful of where we go next, and have long thought the problem was the boardroom more than the figurehead (although he was a major part of our tactical failings and squad choices)

Arteta is the favoured man

It's going to take more than two years living with Pep for me to be convinced but hey...

We need an experienced manager.

Reports claim Liverpool assistant manager Zelijko Buvac has agreed to become the new Arsenal Manager

GiRTh 01-05-2018 06:29 PM

It would be a massive risk but I am hearing the same thing too.
