How do you know this?

Itv released the figures and it was reported on all the major tabloid websites so officials will probably be high end of 3 million or could reach 4 million.

Jack_ 08-06-2018 09:00 AM

2.43m (12.0%) inc +1

Barry. 08-06-2018 11:38 AM

It's doing very well.

Gstar 09-06-2018 10:40 AM

Apparently 2.26m including +1

Another good rating, should see a rise on Sunday

*mazedsalv** 09-06-2018 05:18 PM

Basically this series is rating higher than any BB series on C5... yep even more on average than mega hits Cbb13 and cbb15.

Sunday will be up to around 2.7m.

Gstar 09-06-2018 05:26 PM

CBB15s ratings   was literally getting 3m in overnights

I'm really curious now to see that official rating for launch its gonna be close to 4 million surely and the rest of the week is gonna hit the high 2 million to 3 million.

They have been very smart with everything so far for instance its following the same format of early Big Brother's with just showing a recap on Saturdays giving the viewer a break and anticipating what's been going on over the weekend hence I think Sundays will be their most viewed day's.

Also it seems very simplified and less gimmicky it's so hard to understand how BB can't get this right when a show that's basically copied them down to a T can!

Mind blown.

We love a ratings smash!

Gstar 09-06-2018 08:43 PM

If tonights recap episode (on a Saturday) rates above 2m then BB is officially cancelled

They don't count in the overall series ratings do they?

Gstar 10-06-2018 12:04 AM

Idk but if they don’t it will make BB look even worse. The recap episodes are actually quite good as well

Interesting to see how Aftersun will rate tomorrow night.

Even the sideshow was beating BB18 last year. :skull:

Gstar 10-06-2018 12:15 AM

I love after sun, will definitely be watching!

It didn't even hit 1 million not surprising really as it was just a recap.

Gstar 11-06-2018 10:13 AM

2.5m for last night :clap1: and 1.1m for aftersun! :clap1: :clap1: A good night

Gstar 11-06-2018 10:13 AM

It was the most watched aftersun episode to date

supertv247 11-06-2018 03:50 PM

Just FYI - on demand viewing is not counted in official viewing figures (until September anyway) so those 500k that watched the launch episode on ITV Hub won't be counted in the official ratings

pontyboi 12-06-2018 03:32 PM

Love Island continued last night with 2.6 million viewers I honestly can't wait to see the officials seeing as everyone record's these day's to avoid ads for shampoo and Aldi im expecting big numbers.

These overnights are really impressive when you think back to the likes of BB10 which was 9 years ago and more people watched tv live, Angels eviction only achieved 1.9 million.

I'm still going back and forth wether i'm a fan though there just isn't enough going on for me like i'm not captivated but have to say the production team are spot on in the way they produce the show, market it and keep it simple.
