Have thought about it as I generally like my own company and often do things on my own but a holiday is a bit of a bigger commitment and expense. A long weekend is probably the most I'd go for

Josy 25-06-2018 09:35 PM

Go for it

Vanessa 25-06-2018 09:37 PM

I have done. I think it's great for when i need some time on my own to think and recharge the batteries :hee:

Not exactly adventurous but when I was younger my parents had a little tourer caravan down on the west coast of Wales, right by the sea, and one weekend we all went down for the 2 days then I decided to stay for about 3 days on my own there and got the train back up home. Was only 16 I think, must have been just after my GCSE's. Was brilliant sitting out watching the sun set behind the sea every night, not a care in the world.

Couple of mates came with me a few times after that for some weekends. Ah to be young again!!

Some people like going on holiday on their own , but i'd be bored out my skull  so no .

Firewire 25-06-2018 10:30 PM

I would love to but worried I'd get bored.

Maybe start with a weekend or something and see how it goes?

Nope.

Ninastar 25-06-2018 11:51 PM

I like my own company so yes, I would.

I almost went to pride on my own but I had a kind offer I couldn’t refuse so I went with someone instead

JerseyWins 25-06-2018 11:55 PM

Never gone on holiday alone... like I literally never even thought of doing that lol... but I feel like it'd actually be good depending on where / what kind of trip.

Babayaro. 26-06-2018 03:12 AM

Idk if what im doing right now counts as I'm technically not alone, but I'd love to travel by myself one day

That’s the way I sould see it, you would have a rubbish time and chalk it up to experience or you would love it and make it a regular thing.

I suppose it just depends on if you’re a person who likes their own company. I’m not and know I would be terribly bored without other people, but, that’s just because I don’t enjoy my own company.

If you enjoy being at home alone I don’t see why it would be different on holiday.

Crimson Dynamo 26-06-2018 09:25 AM

i guess its like going on a date on your own

Nicky91 26-06-2018 09:28 AM

no

supertv247 26-06-2018 11:07 AM

Depends where! If it’s a relaxing / beach holiday then you’ll probs bore yourself but if it’s a city where there’s lots to do and see then you can work to your own accordance and keep yourself busy

No way, I would be happy out reading my book in the sun, sipping cocktails with no one bothering me :hee:
