Nobody to blame but themselves .
Stupid idiots going into an area where predator animals reside .
The obsession with hunting has killed them, I don't have much sympathy tbh :bored: .

Can we crowdfund someone to go to their funerals and start a slow chant of "A-weema-weh, a-weema-weh"

bots 06-07-2018 05:38 AM

Seems I am alone in thinking it would have been a horrible death for anyone and that no-one deserves that

Must be even more horrible for the poor rhinos just minding their business but constantly being hunted just for their greed...

I agree and having watched quite a few documentaries over the years and witnessed just how savagely and callously these ivory-poachers slaughter elephants and rhinos, I REALLY could not care less how they met their end. Karma - pure and simple.

Nicky91 06-07-2018 07:06 AM

finally some karma for the hunters, the hunters became the hunted

i don't feel sad for the hunters, but more happy the lions did fight back now

jaxie 06-07-2018 07:16 AM

There is a sense of poetic Justice for conservation to this story.

Vicky. 06-07-2018 07:26 AM

A story about horrible hunting bastards that ends well instead of them killing yet another beautiful animal. Well done to the lions, tbh

y.winter 06-07-2018 09:01 AM

People will laugh that it's what they deserve, while taking another bite from the burger on their plate.
Cognitive dissonance is fun.

Niamh. 06-07-2018 09:06 AM

I mean I'm not going to celebrate people being killed but it is hard to muster up any sympathy at the same time

I expect people can differentiate the need to eat to survive from ignorant blind greed

Some people eat lions... animals' meat is meat, isn't it? Cows, lions, dogs - kill it and call yourself disgusting bastard, pay other to kill it out of sight and put it in a nice package and call it need to survive.

also "eat to survive", is a stretch.

They weren't hunting for meat though... They were hunting for rhino horns. Illegally. In an area that they knew was full of dangerous animals.

I get what you're saying but its not really the same thing.
