You can have more come backs in politics than rocky

Livia 11-07-2018 10:21 AM

Blair's pension is well over £3m a year. You only have to be prime minister for a day to enjoy the benefits for the rest of your life.

I agree she will never go on her own but she might be pushed. I would personally prefer someone who believes in Brexit but who know what we will get when she is pushed.

With regards Boris, he was actually a very good Mayor and kept his promises. I like him for that. The current Mayor is useless and just make excuses.

I don't think she is 'allowed to' resign in all honesty. She would surely have gone after the dreadful election result. But also, someone would have to be totally out of their mind to volunteer to sort out this brexit mess now. It was a poisoned chalice when may took it, its ****ing worse now.

They voted for the Tory's take on Brexit despite knowing how flip floppy on issues they are. They voted for the Tory party under May's leadership thus they voted for the soft brexit she's offering up.

Ridiculous, how very dare you?! Strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable, strong and stable, brexit means brexit, strong and stable.

It's very easy to criticise, but I don't see how Corbyn could have done a better job. Can anyone say with any certainty what labours strategy is on brexit. That is 100% supported by the entire party? The SNP and lib dems are even worse, they don't even acknowledge that the UK voted to leave the EU

If people wanted a hard brexit, they should have gone for Corbyn. He is the reverse of May, a leaver who had to support remain for the sake of his party. The truth is people stood a better chance of a hard brexit with Labour than they ever did with the Tories.

We're not gonna have another general election! *Fast forward a few weeks later* We're having another general election!

Everyone would **** it up. Its just a disaster waiting to happen. Whoever pulled the short straw and got stuck with it would be crap. Part of the reason I think the Tories were actively trying to lose the last election, so Labour got stuck with it and then the Tories could forever point and laugh. Despite it all being Camerons fault to start with! And all as he was **** scared Farage would take his voters. School year bollocks, with very bad consequences

We may well end up with Mogg - then we will get a hard Brexit which is very much preferable to Corbyn’s version or May’s.

he didn't seem to be anything as i recall, he didn't know where to place his hat because he didn't know which was the popular choice, and I still don't see any change in that position. Are labour united in an approach to it all? If they are I've seen zero evidence of it.

Well said. :clap1:

Vicky. 11-07-2018 11:12 AM

Corbyn was anti-EU, and he got a lot of **** for it, IIRC. Labour were pro, but Corbyn was anti.

He was quite known for being Anti-EU.

The Labour party would be as divided as the Tories but the truth is there would have been more chance of Corbyn pushing for a hard brexit than you'd get with May as we've seen in the past few days.

I voted UKIP and I voted out and would do the same again, you claim people who voted to leave didnt know what they were voting for ,without being able to prove this ,I knew full well what I was voting for and find it an insult that you claim people who didn't vote the same way as you are stupid !

Why do you persist in insulting anyone - on here and in the 'real' world - who do not align with your very skewed, very delusional, left-wing, liberal politics?

By evidencing the repetitive pattern of your posts on SD, it is not only transparent that it is you who are ill-informed but also that you must have the narrowest parameters of sources from which you swallow the misinformation which you keep regurgitating on here.

You have absolutely NO evidence to support or justify your oft-repeated lie that 'Leave' voters are any more or less 'ill-informed' than you or any other 'Remain' voter, yet that FACT does not stop you preaching and reaching on here.

Then again, being caught out making up your own 'Facts' on other threads has not stopped you there either.

Sheer ill informed arrogance ,to claim you knew what you were voting for, but other people didnt !!

I didn't insult anyone but if you class that as an insult then what do you have to say about your own post which is filled with worse examples aimed at me?

That's silly.

Just because some people aren't informed about their choices doesn't mean that everyone is. Some people voted for the tories after researching the policies and finding that they agreed with them. The same can be said for all parties but to act like a sizeable amount of people aren't uninformed when it comes to voting is a pure falsity.

Who are you claiming were ill informed ? People who didnt vote the way you did  and wheres your proof to back this random claim up ?

I'm sorry Vicky but claiming a disaster waiting to happen is a touch melodramatic. That might be what you think but no one can know that and a lot of the fear predictions have been wrong. If we left and went into WTO rules it wouldn't be the disaster it is being painted. The world will not end as we know it.
