Was deleted as it was quoting a deleted post. Deleted post was clearly homophobic, so kind of proving this guys point a bit D:

Homophobia was never everywhere and it's better now than it ever was .... doesn't mean that there still isn't room for improvement.

I remember gay men when I was growing up in the 60s, but I never, ever saw any of them dressed like this idiot demanded to be treat as a special case, they just got on with their lives

They might have got it for just being a bit annoying. Can't have been for their homosexual tendencies!!!

It's a real shame that homosexual men/women are facing the same criticisms that women have been receiving for years. If that isn't proof of homophobia then I don't know what is.

I don't care if someone's dressed in a dress or S&M gear, it does not impact what they are saying.

What you are promoting with this post is judging books by covers and close mindedness. It doesn't matter how people choose to dress, it's what they have to say that matters.

I'm not talking daft... I just can't believe another woman is saying that someone deserves everything they get because of how they dress.

If we wear trousers, stay at home, preferably in the kitchen, quit our jobs, have two children and stop divorcing our husbands, we wouldn't have a problem!

And that is a statement that is often thrown at women to undercut their views.

It's remarkable I know but people can oppose more than one thing at a time.

The struggles of the LGBT community is not far removed from the plight that women face. There's overlapping issues which you have displayed with your willingness to value a person's appearance over their opinion.

Nothing like a bunch of straight people to lecture us on where homophobia is and isn't!
