No Funding
for any 2nd vote

wait and see, money will be found from somewhere :hehe:

It would completely undermine what we call democracy should another referendum take place.

Shaun 16-07-2018 02:06 PM

Misread this as "would you vote in a 2nd referendum" and clicked "yes, same as last time" but I voted to remain :p

Cherie 16-07-2018 02:06 PM

I feel like we are being turned over by something cooked up by Bojo and May. Bojo resigns, May will throw it back to the country, country votes remain, May resigns as she really wanted Brexit.(not)..Bojo gets the PM job, job done...it might be fanciful but I have seen House of Cards :nono:

Crimson Dynamo 16-07-2018 02:12 PM

I think, first, we should have a referendum to see if we want to have a second referendum

test the waters

We could also include a ‘would you like to cut Scotland adrift while the rest of the UK remains in the EU’ option

bots 16-07-2018 02:17 PM

i've all but given up on Westminster. May was a remainer, so she clearly has a different view on what brexit means to others. What she considers a good deal, won't be considered that by others. The question is does she have a big enough consensus behind her in parliament to push it through or not .... is it acceptable to the EU or not. Either of those could kill her plan stone dead. If that is the place we end up, then its either a no deal or a referendum. By that point it will be all but a certainty it goes to a referendum

ethanjames 16-07-2018 02:23 PM

i would vote remain though doubt a second vote would actually happen

This is like a Chat and Games thread now

I voted leave.However I didn’t vote Tory.

I think May could make a fudge of this and end up giving us the BRINO(brexit in name only) option. That would imo put us in the worst position.
I.E The ECJ or any part of the EU still having any authority over our trade, parliament or courts without us even having a vote in the EU.

I would vote leave again for a full Brexit where we are free to make our own trade deals and our Parliament being fully sovereign on all issues.

If it’s going to be some fudge where we still have to bow down to Juncker on certain things then i’d vote remain so we can atleast have a say.

smudgie 16-07-2018 03:55 PM

I would vote leave again.
Then I wouldn't vote in the next general election:fist:

We had a people's vote. It was to leave. I would vote leave again and anyone who believes in democracy would vote leave also.
