These parents tend to be the worst and have the naughtiest children.

In my experience they tend to be the ones whose kids have learned to play them like a fiddle... Behave immaculately around mum / teachers / other adults and then covertly be nasty little ****s to other kids when (they think) no one is watching.

Then tell mum it was all the other kid's fault with a few crocodile tears and of course, mums like arr Nic believe them straight away.

My default response when my daughter is telling me her "someone just randomly kicked me for absolutely no reason!!" tales of woe and persecution is "OK... And what ACTUALLY happened." until I get to the truth :joker: (like 80% of the time it's far from one sided)

If the father is only a step father, no he shouldn't be allowed to tell the kid off

Osjama 18-08-2018 11:24 AM

My dad tends to get mad at other ppls kids, especially when it comes to my sister. It’s super awkward but if it’s somebody that they consider a dad it’s quite bizarre and controlling that she’s saying he can’t tell them off lol

Osjama 18-08-2018 11:25 AM

Irionailly enough I know someone called Nicola who gets mad when ppl other than her get mad at her kids, and sometimes rightfully so because they’re brats

I think he's their dad though? Isn't she still with that soccer player? If so he's their dad

Then the soft twat should be telling them off for being naughty - if they deserve it - AND Nicola Mclean off for being a stupid bossy ridiculous cow.

Cherie 18-08-2018 12:42 PM

I wonder if she will take all the blame if they turn out to be twats...

user104658 18-08-2018 12:59 PM

"Rocky and Striker" tho :umm2:...

With Nicola McClean insisting on being their only influence, that doesn't seem like much of an "if"...

Much preferred her when she was just a voiceless pair of tits decorating the Daily Star. She gets less likeable with every sentence she manages to string together.

The highlight of her career.Showed just how selfless she really is.The funny part for me was when she said after “sorry guys,i feel really mean” after the whole performance before.

..it’s silly, their dad isn’t ‘stepping in’ he’s joint parenting with her and it’s up to them as a couple to determine rules and boundaries so that the parenting is consistent from both, not two different methods which will only ever confuse a child and cause boundaries to be pushed and manipulated over time...she’s also spoken about in on a daytime TV show...how their dad ‘doesn’t need to’...so she’s undermined him to her sons in public...that’s really bad parenting in itself as many of their peer’s parents will have probably watched and it being mentioned in the homes...so inevitably something they will know already I would think, how dad doesn’t need to feel he needs to parent...parents ..(..when there are two as a couple as they are..)...are a unit of unity...

Kizzy 25-08-2018 11:54 AM

So when she was in BB how did that work?... Did they just parent themselves? :/

I have told off random little ****s before, for hitting my own children when their parents just sat and watched, or in one case even sat giggling about it. However oddly enough, once you tell off their little cherubs, they can be arsed to get up and come over to have a go at you about it. Hows about, if you parents your own children noone else will have to, lazy twats.

You see I have a problem with the term "steparents being throung around.

I don't think my kids are little cherubs my 3 boys are in their 20's...my daughter is 13

If my husband and myself ever broke up and I heard another woman was telling my kids how they must behave....there would be murder...and that's putting it nicely

Well unless they crossed the line and physically put their hands on them or spoke to them out of turn, I feel that's kind of ridiculous.

If she simply told them off for misbehaving, then it's like a teacher at school, they have every right to.

Of course if they get physicall they crossed the line
Have no problem with teachers correcting my kids..what I'm talking about is every day isssue's ie make your bed ..wash your own dishe's

Folk's want to describe themselves all the time as "Steparent's" very often

And I'm not saying Vicky in this case

Sometimes you can notice a grudge against your curent love and their kids simlpy..they are ex's

"Make your bed, wash your dishes" seems like perfectly acceptable requests if they are staying in that person's house.

This sounds more like a bitter ex not liking her ex husband's new partner.
