No it wasn’t but okay. I actually enjoyed it, I liked the housemates and I thought the more highbrow feel actually worked?

your adherence towards Anne is strongly blatant

Can you read? You asked what happened which was entertaining AFTER India left? I said absolutely **** all...including Ann's entire stay in the house where she did nothing of note outside of being an absolute misery.

LukeB 25-08-2018 10:56 PM

The last great series was CBB19

wrong

please give me an example of something entertaining that happened after India went that doesn't involve Anne
re-read, revise then review

I actually asked you to name something entertaining that happened after India went that did not involve Anne

you replied with 'nothing'

you then proceeded to change what I asked round and said 'including Anne'

I didn't ask you to tell me that

She came runner-up, clearly something sparked viewer's minds

whereas with Shane it was most likely the 'drag' community who voted for him to win, a lot of people who probably didn't watch the series

I said nothing entertaining happened but my previous post to you was

"lmao no she didn't?" to your comment about Ann apparently providing entertainment

So it ain't my problem that you failed to comprehend that my "nothing entertaining happened" post obviously included Ann too? :laugh2:

uh

I asked you a simple question disregarding Ann and her entertainment

you just answered it regarding Ann

you tripped over your own skipping rope

:worry:

Natalie shouod have won this series - and India the January one.

As been mentioned here, Shane/Courtney won simply through being a drag act when drag is riding a wave. No strong feelings either way about Courtney Act, but wasn’t an exciting or deserved winner for me.

Like Nats India had more headlines than anyone. Bed gate, misgendering, blackface, drag phobia, Genuine kiss. I AM A WOMAN. Great Walls of Vagina. She also asked some good questions. Remember her getting Boy zone Shane to talk about Stephen Gately. Natalie asked some good questions too: particularly the one we all wanted answering. What’s your storm?

Ratings dropped after India. Will do same after Nats.

Ryan is this season’s Shane/Courtney. Pleasant and acceptable, but not oustanding like some of the greats.

But me not bringing Ann up would have insinuated that I thought nothing entertaining happened which didn't involve her...and why would I want that insinuated when she was a flop housemate?

Are you tired or do I have to keep explaining why you're wrong? :worry:

I called that the worse showmance in history, even worse than Ellie and Sam, but Chloe/Jermaine takes a strong #4 after Luke S and Ashleigh

Really really excellent series

I loved it

I am not entertained by screaming and shouting and arguments

And I guess a majority of public is the same

But I guess I'm more mature than those that do like it

Oh **** you condescending prick :fist:

Ellie probably typed this response whilst sipping Earl Grey out of china tea cup.

I gave up on last year midway thru, first time ever. losing Rodrigo and Natalie is a bad sign. not here for showmances

Shaun 26-08-2018 03:45 AM

It's a shame that people interpret "one unreasonable asshole running their mouth 24/7" as the only possible form of entertainment and CBB21 was a great series with India's short stay included. Sure, I'd have liked her to have stayed over Jonny, but she wasn't the be all and end all of CBB21.

I would probably have given up on this series if Natalie had stayed. I just can't stomach obnoxious, vindictive assholes with a god complex and zero intelligence. Same reason I gave up on CBB18 with Bear and BB15 with Helen.

All that said, this is a really weak cast and too many samey personalities have been green-lighted: Ryan/Dan/Jermaine/Ben have minimal differences and Chloe doesn't exactly scream "any signs of life" either.

Ammi 26-08-2018 04:19 AM

...I don’t know whether it’ll become boring with the absence of Natalie rattling the characters up a bit like she was successfully doing...it’s too early days really...it’s a bit of a different type of celebrity BB this year for me in that they have all been ‘cast’ because of their storms...specific things in life which some are quite grim in their nature...that’s been the whole premise of the show and the celebrities in there..?...and a very big part of what would make someone three dimensional...the good, the bad etc...and yet so many are refusing to address these things...just want to coast along in some kind of redemption thing of showing...oh look at me, I’m a nice person...don’t judge me on that storm thing..?...bizarre in view of many not wanting any references to it at all or just vaguely brushing past these specific things...the reasons they’re in there..?...can’t really get my head and my thoughts around that but tbh, so I’m finding it really hard to engage with any other than Natalie when she was in ...because she was trying to rattle those storms out of people and the only housemate who wasn’t having any of it...she wasn’t going to let them coast along showing their ‘nice side’ which is easy to do when staged for a stay in the house...she wanted to see the whole people...she wanted to know the whole people and character of the people she was sharing a house with...so we’ll see if that makes for a boring house now that she’s gone because for me, something has to shake them up...

It was pretty bad. If you found that series fun you’ll prob like cbb22, just quite puzzling that’s what you call entertainment. At least cbb21 had Ann rolling her eyes. Now we have Jermaine cheating? And the lads getting on? What an upgrade
At least cbb21 had that one night where people came close to fighting with eachother over that question game. We probably won’t even get THAT

Literally what they’re saying the entire series was boring without India yet saying Ann is boring is obidctively biased? Against what?

BB-Germany 26-08-2018 08:26 AM

The way the producers were casting these last two series was absolute crap.

If people want to redeem themselves because of their 'storm', they won't jump around causing controversies.

When people are cast solely because they are somehow political as they did in january, that won't make good TV as well. At least not in that environment with how it's been the last 10 years.

sorry but

I actually forgot Natalie and Rodrigo's 'storm'

:worry:

glibberglobber 26-08-2018 09:26 PM

what's this thread then?

:clap1:

Epic. 26-08-2018 09:27 PM

Tonight's show was more entertaining than the entirety of CBB21

Marsh. 26-08-2018 09:28 PM

If you're going to go on and on and on and on and on and on about how boring you think something will be if a, b or c doesn't happen you will NEVER enjoy it and will call it boring regardless.

The series has been called dull since before Natalie was even nominated for eviction. Just refusing to even try to enjoy something they haven't even tried. A child saying they don't like their vegetables before even trying their vegetables teas. :hee:

glibberglobber 26-08-2018 09:30 PM

a lot of the people who strained on this series being boring admitted they enjoyed tonight

considering this thread was made before we even saw the house without the dowdy duo

:hoarse laugh:
