Sally and Kirstie will get us through the final week. :clap1:

I was disappointed when Natalie left so soon and wondered if the series would flounder without a big character but it's gone from strength to strength this series as far as gripping TV goes. Though some of it has been heart wrenching and hard to watch.

For a cast that doesn't seem to be vibrant with big personalities, there's been a decent amount of storylines and talking points that have managed to carry the series. I hope this final week doesn't let it down now.

It takes a big person to admit they are wrong

Ah ok.

Tbh, series tend to be better if someone who dominates the show gets taken out. Characters like that stifle everyone and everything else in the house.

Robodog 02-09-2018 06:11 PM

You can never write off BB

Somehow, something unexpected always gets pulled out of the bag

Apart from BB4 which was 100% tumbleweed

Mystic Mock 02-09-2018 06:15 PM

The series has got better since Chloe left as it's branched out from just Showmances.

Although Natalie vs Roxy would be a sight to behold.

Yup. This is almost always the case.

Huge exception being the quad eviction (I am so obsessed with that, need to get over it really) and thats only as so many big characters were taken out alltogether.

Which one? The BB11 one or the BB16 one?

The BB11 one took away our Corin who could've finished Top 2 </3 But tbf it was only with a week left to go so it's impact on the series as a whole was very minimal.

...Hayden.....yeah it really has sustained interest through out..Nataliegate, Roxannegate...and a bit of Jermaine and Chloe gate as well...it’s really hard when a favourite goes I think...especially if they go so early in the first eviction and if there’s no real huge support for any other housemates felt...because a big enjoyment with BB is supporting and getting aboard a housemate and rooting for them etc...that’s a huge part for me...it generally takes me a while of getting to know them first but with Natalie it was quite instant and I had no expectations or thoughts for her when she went in as I was completely unfamiliar...so yeah it was a big personal loss when she went because there was no one else I was totally on board with at the time...but there characters have emerged more so there are a few I’ve come to like quite a bit...especially Kirstie..Kirstie’s my girl.....

I'll say yes and no.

Kim is an example of a big character that has 2 speeds. She didn't dominate the whole period she was in. There were storylines between other housemates that still took place and Kim didn't overshadow them. When she blew she blew, and when she calmed down she calmed down. That's why I say she has 2 speeds.

Natalie, Farrah, Bear, and Pauline (BB15) are examples of big characters with one speed only. They are constantly generating new arguments whether it's justified or not, they demand control of the house's attention and overshadow everyone.

In farrah's case it was enjoyable to watch, although she was an insufferable personality that demands airtime, she didn't ruin her series. Bear ruined his series, obviously. Pauline would've def ruined her series had she stayed, she was too overbearing and controlling and scoured everywhere for new targets to attack she did more damage than Natalie. Natalie.... I'm leaning towards her ruining the series but idk maybe she would've cooled off a little on the 2nd week. I guess we'll never know.

Its whired... what happen on this show was crule to ryan, you watch it and think how could you just let BB do this to him, tell him off for no reason, but then its also true, that them putting doubt in his mind, just made episode

I hate what happened but if roxanne would have turned against him and he just brushed it off it would not have been that good... what made it better was that roxanne schemed against him and he was really effect by it as he wants to be a good person, and is.... he was boring before but now hes got a good chance off winning as you have seen try emotion from him...

the episode was amazing cringe, scary, cruel to Roxanne too as she she is just shown up as a manipulative lair who is too faced and evil... but at the same time you think, Good, she deserves it ... for making a grown man cry...

I hope no one got fired over this! what happened was wrong, that it felt wrong to watch it a enjoy it, but theres a lot you can learn from it and learning new things should be what the show is all about.

Why are you explaining my own point to me? :conf:

I don't recall saying Kim was a character that took over the series and was overbearing. She wasn't. She contributed nicely as a character.
