..the decision to put him in the house was the reason one of the BB sponsors withdrew their sponsorship, Anna...so I dont think they and the domestic violence charities would agree that it’s just one of those times in his extreme and terrifying words and behaviour with his ex...

Why can we let go of one housemates outside behaviour so easily (e.g Kirstie) and yet vilify another (e.g. Dan) for theirs? I am guilty of this too.

As a fan from Canada, most of the CBB housemates are unknown to me each episode (unless they are American). I could never understand how a lot of people could be so against a housemate who seemed great in the house. For example Katie Hopkins and Jim Davidson. I knew nothing about them and thought they were both great in CBB but there was so much hate and resentment for them by the public.

I understand it now because I feel the same way with Kirstie Alley. I know about her outside the CBB house and she is a vile human being with her support of Trump and Scientology. Yet, most people love her because they are judging her from watching her inside of the house only.

Sorry for the long post...but this thread may me stop and think.

..the thing is with Kirstie I think..for instance...she doesn’t seem to have tried to avoid or conceal her storm in any way...her Scientology etc ..she does have restrictions in discussing Scientology though ...but some of the others as in Ben..Natalie addressed the storms in the early days ...saying she wanted to know WHO she was sharing a house with and a bedroom and shower with..!!!...:laugh:...and it was deflected by quite a few housemates, they were quite vocal about it and defensive about it...Ben has only mentioned ‘regretting his behaviour’ in a vague way or so we’ve been shown..when they’re all in there completely because of their storms and the theme this year...so outside of the house lived do have more importance and relevance..


..I don’t always know any backgrounds of the housemates, like you Stormy..I’m not a huge celebrity follower.. but I was aware of Katie and Jim before they went into the house...and their general behaviour in there didn’t really change my thoughts about them ..I don’t think either were great in the house at all..agree to differ in thoughts stuff..:laugh:...

I do wonder why it was taped, is that normal these days, you tape your arguments, unless it wasn't the first time he said it and she was ready for him with the phone on....

..I might be wrong but I don’t think it was a taping of their argument as such...in one of them having done it..?...I think it was an emergency call audio which was released and led up to his arrest when the police arrived..

Kirstie is definitely hiding and avoiding her storms. I have to give her credit that she is doing it so artfully, no one notices it.

She refused to talk about Scientology and when Natalie tried to get her to talk about her Trump support she shut her down completely. Now, no one asks about her storms at all.

Natalie had her pegged and if she stayed she would have kept poking at her until the real Kirstie came out. Natalie leaving was the best thing for Kirstie and is the reason that she is poised to win it all.

Tbh from Launch Night I never liked Dan or Kirstie, all you're saying about Kirstie is making me feel validated imo of her.
