The difference is Endemol are doing the turnaround and caring for the show. Channel 5 aren’t, but they’re doing the scheduling

In that case, I hope Endemol do end the contract with C5 and find a channel that will respect the format and give it a chance to succeed. Ofc, we'd all love for Channel 4 to take it back, but that probably won't happen. I would honestly be fine with ITVBe/MTV taking the show providing they gave Endemol control over it, and didn't try to make it the cliche reality show C5 tried to make it.

Ehm, maybe, but the reason has nothing to do with Saturdays

Headie 04-09-2018 05:03 PM

Headie 04-09-2018 07:37 PM

Wednesday 19th of September has been scheduled as “Big Brother: Blood Money”

JoshBB 05-09-2018 12:34 PM

From that name, sounds like an eviction/nom twist where getting someone out will get the person $$

Denver 05-09-2018 12:47 PM

Not a family twist

Don't be so quick to jump on this. Big Brother has been at 10pm for most of its run regardless, the only change is evictions now being at 10pm.

Maxxie. 05-09-2018 01:32 PM

Interesting that they're doing no saturday show, maybe they should have an equivalent of the weekly hot list on saturday instead

Someone pointed out tho that it was always at 10pm during the summer when people didn’t have to get up the next morning. Now it’s gonna be finishing at 11pm when everyone’s back at school/college/uni/work

And the fact that there’s no live feed whatsoever (like BB12) no highlights on a Saturday which means that two days a week are going to be squashed down to fit the format.

BB8 did this tbf, though they still had an hour on Sunday for both days rather than 90 minutes.

They had Live Feed, DR Uncut, On The Couch, Big Mouth and BBLB to fill the void though. And they often started straight from Friday's eviction meaning most of the stuff that happened during the day on Fridays was cut </3

supertv247 05-09-2018 04:49 PM

UPDATE: This schedule has now been confirmed by Channel 5, but Sundays are 10:00pm - 11:30pm, so 10pm every night it's on

Ross. 05-09-2018 05:27 PM

Mess

annabelindabee 05-09-2018 05:51 PM

well it will stop me from aplying next year and facing more obsession followed by depression when nothing happens

when shows like this are on at 10... its clear they are tring to take if offline altogether
